I am pursuing a triple major in Music Education, Vocal Performance, and Musical Theatre.

I want to be a music educator because music brings me joy ad I want to bring that same joy to others. I also think that education is a really good outlet for creativity in music. 

When I'm not doing music I love to read, watch, and be a part of theatre! I also like to embroider.

Wednesday: Have a rough draft of your composition to be turned in for feedback.

Thursday: I will return feedback to you on your notation

As the year ends, I am letting you all know that this summer I will be available for weekly private voice lessons. 

Private lessons are a great way to start working on some solo songs to help you audition for outside-of-choir musical opportunities, help you prepare for your Advanced Choir audition in the fall, or if you would just like to become a better singer!

If you are interested have your Parent or Guardian reach out to me at 123-456-7890 or sorbet@fjhs.edu I charge $20 for a 30-minute lesson, and all lessons will be held at school in the choir room!

This week will be our final concert, I have a few reminders for you all about concert attire!

1. Everyone should be nicely dressed in all black. This means no jeans, leggings, or t-shirts. This means black dress pants or skirts with nice button-downs or blouses, or a nice dress. If you have any issues with getting these, let me know, we have extras in the choir closet to share!

2. Everyone should have their music in their school choir binder. DO NOT COME TO THE CONCERT WITHOUT YOUR MUSIC!!

3. The concert will begin at 7, but you are to be in the choir room, seated, and ready to begin warm-ups no later than 6:15. If you have issues with transportation, LET ME KNOW NOW, we will arrange a carpool with one of your other musical buddies. 

4. After the concert, folders should be emptied into the basket in the middle of the choir room, and placed on your chair.

These things may seem silly, but they will make the night go smoothly, and help us to focus on making good music.
