hi kots its mela 💓 the first time i ever had a class with you was back in elementary in my dance club when you taught the “breathin” choreo (which was fire and i somehow still remember it) and then the next time i saw you po again was hhi auditions (to which.. i didn’t pass) and i remember being upset because i really wanted to have you as a coach 😞 years have passed and i am really thankful to have you as a coach now (until your last year 🥲) because i really thought that i wouldn’t have the chance to be taught by you, i have grown a lot as a dancer and a person and i really i look up to you a lot!! i really appreciated rin po when you changed a part of the choreo nung sg because of my surgery 🥹 at that time, i was really worried about not being able to do it and i’m really glad that you were very understanding. i pray that life will continue to bless you with so many opportunities 🙏🏻 we are gonna miss you as our coach in aadc and your fire pieces 💔💔 WE LOVE YOU PO COACH pls visit us or teach us a choreo PLSS (p.s i remember your long hair era po HAHAHWUSHAHAH)

i really thought i wouldn’t last in this commitment, leaving AADC after at least once performance. but here i am now, setting so much goals for my future all because of one performance over the summer. i knew deep down that it wasn’t my best, but being acknowledged by you and telling me how much i improved really struck me and made me realize that i do want to pursue more of this 🥹 ever since that moment, i knew i had to give my all in the next performances; not just for the members, not just the audience, but also for you. you’re an inspiration to many, and you have the determination to push us to be our “best selves,” a value that our school teaches us, in everything that we do.

i hope that in the years to come, with or without you, we will still be strong as a team. you’ve truly built a foundation and paved the way for us to continue our success as people with potential and talent. with our victories and losses, your presence will never be forgotten. all the lessons, highs and lows, joys and sorrows, will be kept in our hearts forever. may God bless you as you venture unto the next parts of your life, may they be fulfilling and bountiful, and we hope we can continue to cherish our moments as a team together. we love you coach skibidigani! our papa g forever

honestly, my dance journey started out rough! of course everyone had their beginnings but i actually sucked so much-- i just kept dancing and dancing and then i found aadc. 🩶 at that time i was still not confident with my dancing and i didn't know a single thing tbh, like what the heck is afro! ---- conditioning was so difficult, choking on choreos was so nerve wracking, foundations and technique training felt like forever, and being an aadc NEWBIE in the sg roster agad... was a whole different story. 🥲 that's why i'm so grateful you saw the potential in me po and DAMN, you really managed to bring out the best in me. 🥹 i'm still growing every day as a dancer and now that i'm branching out to try new things, i can confidently carry along with me all that i've learned from you! and of course, i've learned more than just dancing from you. 🥰 you embody the word FORMATOR because you have shaped us all to become such driven and disciplined kids! God has truly equipped you with so much wisdom and knowledge.

every moment with you is one to cherish, and it feels even more bittersweet to say that now, knowing that this is your last year here.

i will surely treasure all our team dinners & team lunches, your yap sessions, your tito humor, the sorbetes you bought for us, the samgyup food you can't finish, your life backstories, your budols, your "YESSSS!" in the background of our doing runs, all your neon orange clothes (which you thought were red 😭), and everything else about you that makes you a coach-- OUR coach! 🫂

right off the bat i honestly didnt know what to say, but one thing's for sure - it's that i owe u so much more than anyone in my life fr ! i never actually knew what i was getting into when i joined aadc last year, but my life took a turn (a positive one of course) when u became our coach! if there was something i would cherish aside from all the skills u have taught me, it would be the mental fortitude and values! #legit .

it was something i never knew as a swimmer. maybe because i was younger and i had different sets of people surrounding me BUT i always used to give up easily in everything, and it was just so different from my life in aadc. i think that it is through u that kids like us are lucky enough to be able to learn so much and value relationships we build in the team - and we owe u big time for that no cap .

i remember talking to one of my teachers recently (ms. mermey) and she made kuwento ab ur past students from coach din to coach tricia - there has been nothing but great trust even from ppl that u dont know (like ms. mermey) bc u have been a good inspiration to ur past students and to us :) as ms. mermey said, were very lucky to have someone like u in our lives one way or the other - and shes rooting for u! so thank u!!!

there are many things i want to thank u more for aside from dance, cos for me ur more than just a dance coach (and i think that's the same for many). so im taking this as a chance to thank u for making me feel safe when i used to get fetched late at night at monte vista, for listening to my random kuwentos and opinions during the studio ocular and impromptu lunch at masinag with jill, and for being really patient with me as the creatives head despite my shortcomings :( thank u for believing in me and in return, i hope that aside from us, there's someone who believes in u as well! very random insert but i also wanted to say that i cherish our soundtrips in ur car!!! goated music taste yo !

i know that u probably dont hear these type of messages real often from aadc members cos we r #shy, so i hope that this little padlet or whatnot makes u feel appreciated in a way :( whenever ur feeling down, (or maybe u miss us hehe) i think it would be great for u to re-read all these amazing messages and uplift ur spirit kahit onti :]

honestly, joining aadc again last school year po really changed my life (in a good way ofc hehe) i am very grateful po for all the values and skills you have taught me not just as a dancer but also as a person na rin po. i still remember po the first time i joined your dance class po last 2019, it was aadc jr's auditions po for hhi but unfortunately i didn't pass 😅 at that time i wanted to give up because i felt that my skills weren't enough but looking at how i enjoyed dancing, i auditioned again for aadc jr and got in. during that time i knew that i really wanted to continue my aadc journey and i really hope i joined earlier 😓

thank you also coach for really pushing me out of my comfort zone during trainings— for allowing me to strive and do better in dance as a student athlete. thank you rin po coach pag kailangan ko ng transpo minsan and nakikisabay po ako sainyo from training and for staying with me pa po kapag late na ako nasusundo after training outside school 😆

I am really grateful that you were able to see the potential in me po even if I only joined last school year po (: having you as my coach in dance and in aadc po is something I will never forget about. thank you po coach for teaching us the values of hard work, discipline, control and also in dancing na rin po.
