The Dursleys were unfair and very mean towards Harry because of who he and his parents were, wizards. Though, Harry only just found out about his extraordinary past and his family's history of wizardry when he recieved his invitation letter to the eleite Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The thing I find most interesting about him  is the fact that he was unaware of not only being a wizard, but being a famous wizard known by everyone in the magic community. I thought the irony behind this was quite funny.
