This book is really good because the author made the reader think a lot and the the author makes you wonder about what stanley yelnats did and how this happened. I think that one of the messages is that anything could happen as far as we have read. There is a warden in this book and I thought that the warden would be a boy and he would look like a warrior, but the warden is actually a girl. Some of Stanley's inside traits are:
positive, flexible
the warden is looking for something that could be worth a lot of money. Stanley found a lid of a lipstick. It had the initials of Kate Barlow who is a killer that robbed Stanley's great grandfather. I think that Charles Walker was said to marry Katherine Barlow because Charles Walker got everything he wanted. Katherine is really kind but when Sam was killed innocently so Katherine wanted to make it equal. Themes that are in this book are, lying, racism, family, etc. I think that the warden is part of Trout Walker's family and generations. I think that Trout Walker's family will keep digging until they find it. Some of the writing strategies that the author uses that we also use are dropping little peaces of information that becomes bigger later in the story and giving certain characters certain actions that they repeatedly use. The boys are being mean to Stanley because he had a deal with Zero which was Stanley teaches Zero how to read and Zero digs Stanley hole. I was so surprised when Stanley found Zero under a boat. When they come back the warden finds them... I noticed that stanley changes where he becomes more fit because of all the exercise.  Stanley also changes like now he doesn't give up on anything and he now chooses to do whatever he wants unlike before when he does whatever he is told. This book is about a girl named Julia and she is put into a play and she became the dance manager. She is really short and by the end of the story I predict that Julia will see that she can be really big in the inside and I think the antagonist is the herself because she was the one who didn't share what she was really thinking. But later on in the story Julia liked being in the performance. I think the moral of the story is it doesn't matter if you look different because everyone is equal

I wonder who the real antagonist.

The main character is a girl but her name wasn't mentioned in the book which I thought was weird because she was the main character. Her inside traits are kind, magical, sometimes gets mad when you do something bad etc. I didn't get to see her external traits because it wasn't mentioned.

3.what traits do you think is most important for your characters survival and success?

Being kind to wild life because if she didn't have that trait the gregg family would not have learned their lesson.
