The fight over SNAP food benefits is getting worse. A judge ordered the Trump administration to fully fund the program right away, saying people shouldn’t have to wait any longer for help buying food. In response, the government asked an appeals court to pause that order, arguing the judge can’t force them to spend money that’s meant for other programs like WIC. The judge fired back, saying the administration was holding back benefits for political reasons. Now, everyone’s waiting to see if the appeals court will back the government or make them pay out SNAP in full.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland died Thursday morning at age 24.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says that Wednesday, troopers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation driver refused to halt and a pursuit began.

The pursuit was quickly terminated after troopers lost sight of the vehicle, Texas DPS said.“minutes later,” crashed on Dallas Parkway in Frisco later identified as Kneeland, fled the scene on foot. officers were informed that Kneeland “had expressed suicidal ideations” and “was later located at 1:31 a.m., deceased with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

The Texas Department of Public Safety attempted to stop Kneelands' vehicle. They lost sight of his car, then he later apparently killed himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Just days before, Kneeland scored his first touchdown on a punt block return against the Arizona Cardinals.
