The video shows the difference between black people and white people living differently with two screens apart shown. My message is to show that black people should have the same rights just like white people. But in reality, when you see this video, you can tell that black people aren’t getting the same same thing and with no support just like white people would which you can quickly tell racism isn't still over yet.
For the sec for assumptions/stereotype that I wrote was white people are rude to black people, don't give them respect. This short paragraph also responds to the video that I just watched, predicting the characters issue. And guess what Black people actually “pays $700 more to buy a car than white people,” 17% of fewer houses to purchase and you’ll get pulled by a cop multiple time just because of your race.

Link to the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTcSVQJ2h8g

The overall topic of this poem "I Hadn't meant to tell you this" by Jacqueline Woodson. Talks about a white grill named Lena getting bulled bully by black people because of her race and how poor she is. But a African american girl named Marie stood ageist Lena showing that she should not get bully since Marie is part from the black people. Also there are two poetry that Lena's mother wrote from her postcard. The first poetry tells us about
"Thinking ahead and preparing for the future to avoid surprises."
The sec poetry tells us about
"Enjoying life as much as possible without wasting time before you become old."

The article "More U.S. racial, economic inequality today than 50 years ago, study says." Written by Associated Press. The article says that there are more schools actuating segregated today due to lack of court oversight and counted housing discrimination. What makes matters worse is for people who live in poverty had increased to 46 percent since 1975 and I made more harder for black people to live. The federal and state government are now trying to push for more spending on early childhood education and will recommends a 15 dollar national minimum wage by 2024.

https://newsela.com/read/us
inequality-study/id/40889/

I was inspired by the book "I Hadn't meant to tell you this" by Jacqueline Woodson because this book gives me the perfect example that black people aren't the only ones getting treating badly just because of their race and how the relationship could turn into positive when your meeting a black friend like Marie for example. Not only from the story. It's also the poems is what make this book interesting because both of the poems and the main character are in common since it talks about about their own feelings and some of the difficulty's about your everyday life. Making it bit easier to understand the main characters issues.
