Activity room

1. are able to follow simple instructions given by adults

2. are able to recognize the colour -red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple

3. are able to hold the brush in one hand and paint on another hand

1. Use the painting technique to make a rainbow by using water colour, paint brush and their hands (PKE-SK).

2. Enhance eye-hand coordination by using their hand to use the paint brush to paint it on their hand (PF).

3. Name out the colours that they use - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, indigo (PBKLA).

1. Teacher lay out all the percussion materials on the floor.

2. Get the children to sit on the floor around the materials.

3. Teacher demonstrate to use or play each of the percussion.

4. Then teacher let the children to explore the percussion by themselves.

5. Teacher observe each one of them and asks:

   • "Can you hear the sound?"

   • "How do you make the sound?"

6. Then teacher praise the children for their participation.

1. Get permission from the TASKA educator to bring children for teaching practices.

2. Bring children to drink water, go to the toilet and wash their hands. 

3. Bring the children to the activity area and let them sit on the chairs.

4. Teacher greets the children "Good morning!" and introduce self and let children introduce their names by singing "Good Morning Song".

5. Teacher ask the children

   • "Have you seen a rainbow before?"

   • "How many colours does the rainbow has?"

   • "What colour does the rainbow has?"

6. Tell the children that we are going to make “My Handprint Rainbow”

Allow the child to find something that could make a sound around the classroom and show it to the teacher. It could be hitting a book with a pencil.

If the child needs assistance to do the activity

The teacher could hold their hands and hit the materials with the objects.

• Ensure the percussion is in good condition

• Ensure that all sharp object to be removed.

ii. Kebersihan:

• Ensure the percussion are sanitised.

• Ensure the chairs are clean

iii. Kesihatan:

• Ensure the children are in good health before proceeding activity

• Ensure both teacher and student are wearing their mask throughout the activity.

• Teacher will ask the children to use their thumb to paint a sun.

• Teacher praises the children for their participation in the activity.

● If the child needs assistance when doing activity:

• Teacher will hold their hands to gide on how to paint on their hand and stamp it on the art block.

• Teacher praises the children for their effort.

1. Teacher arranges the materials such as water colour, colour palette, paint brush, and art blocks on the table.

2. Teacher ask the children to wear the apron. 

3. Teacher asks the children, “What can you see after a rainy day?” (rainbow and sun)

4. Before the activity started, the teacher explained to the children about the colours of a rainbow and the sequence of the colours of a rainbow.

5. Teacher demonstrates to the children how to paint the water colour on the hand by using the paint brush starting from red colour (finger) and ending with indigo colour (palm).

6. Teacher stamp the hand on the art block.

7. Teacher tells the children, “This is a rainbow.” and repeat the same step until it forms a semicircle shape to be a rainbow.

8. After demonstrating, the teacher lets the children start the activity.

9. Teacher praises the children for their participation in the activities.

• “What activitiy we doing today?” (Rainbow Handprint)

• “What colours did we use?” (Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, indigo)

• “Do you like the activity we do today?” (Yes)

2) Teacher praises children for their participation.

3) Bring them to wash hands.

4) Clean up the materials.

5) Say “Thank You” to the children.

6) Send back the children to the TASKA.

1. Place the ice-cream cone template with numbers 1-5 .

2. Show the children to paste the ice cream scoop on the cone with the correct numbers.

3. Children take turns placing the correct number of scoops on the corresponding numbers on the ice-cream cone.

4. Guide them in counting aloud together.

6. Teacher tell children about the activity that they are going to do for today .

7. Teacher holds up the ice cream and show them to the children. Tell them that we are going to play a song , " The Ice Cream "and ask the children to sing along.

Kalau kanak-kanak perlu bantuan membuat aktiviti:
If the child unable to do, educator can guide children learn to count for number 1 to 3.

- Ensure that the activity space and equipment used are safe for children to use.

-Teacher recap activity by asking children some questions:

a) "What is the activity that we did just now?" ( I like ice-cream)

b) "Do you know how to count the quantity of ice-cream scoop according to the given numbers?" (Yes)

c) " Can you name the colours of the ice-cream scoop in the activity?" (Red, green, yellow)

d) "What are the numbers that we learnt in the activity?" (1 to 5)

-Praise children for their participation in the activities.

-Tidy up the materials with the children.

-Say thank you.

-Bring the children back to TASKA educator/caregiver after washing their hands
