I feel mad about this book because ever since Grant touched that tree/cut down that tree, he' s made everyone angry. I feel like he should have never made that decision to touch something that does not belong to him. The text stated how the tree was very important and that's why it looked different from the others. Everyone else knew not to even mess with that tree. He wasn't even from Queen Charlotte's, nor lived in it. He was only there to do his job but messing with other trees that didn't look like other ones wasn't ever his job. I believe he should've left it alone.

Here are my 5 reasons.

1. every time you bite an apple a piece is missing from it and just like this book, every time something goes wrong in this book, somebody goes missing. 

2. when apples are cut it's sliced up into more pieces, just like in this book, once somebody goes missing, its a lot of problems that come together and get split up into different problems.

3. an apple has skin on it and some people don't like it so they peel it off. Just like the book Vanished. People in this book keep trying to look for their person but they can't sometimes, so sometimes they just stop until they find information from the Police.

4. apples get turned into juice sometimes and don't go back. Some people get lost or run away and don't come back or they just can't because they got kidnapped.  

5. when you bite into an apple, its very sweet and sour. This book shows how Grant went into another state without any partner and he was very safe. That was the sweet part. The sour part was when he went missing and no one found him or knew where he was.

Basically, Grant made a really big mistake and he needed to take up for it but he didn't. Everyone is now coming after him and searching for him. Right now he believes he's safe when hes really is not. He's hiding so no one finds him. I would try and bribe them to something else instead of attacking one person. Its a lot of them against him and him by himself is not the way to it. Everyone is angry with him and I would like to stop that and calm them down.

4: Mr. Piranha's skin is actually yellow as well!

5: Inside the cracked egg, it's like if all your plans were coming out. And that's what Dr. Ruppert Marmalade was doing! Telling his secrets before ruining the world.
