I don't think that BOOKS will ever lose their charm. They have their own allure which can never be found in ebooks.
The connection felt while reading books can never be felt while reading ebooks.
We get addicted to books if we are in their company for long. And I think that for few of us this company must have fulfilled the void which was being felt during the Covid-19. It did for me. I always end up having books falling on my face when I doze off while reading books; then I snap out of my dreams and start reading again.
Ebooks have their own ebbs and flows. The advantages are countless but in addition to them their are significant disadvantages too i.e., while reading ebooks usage of mobile phones (or laptop, etc.) for prolonged periods of time can cause the RF radiation thermal effect on human body by increasing the temperature of the body; moreover,if used for elongated periods, ebooks can cause to damage our eyesight too. But books assure us of the absence of these deleterious results. It's not bad to read ebooks for a while but I would always prefer to read books in a hushed library.
Books are eternal companions.

Books in any form whether a printed book or an e-book, always have a very important role to play in a person's life. But nowadays the trend seems to be different; different as in people have now moved on from using printed books to using digital books. Digital books may provide us with the same knowledge, facts and important life lessons but can never replace our old aged and most loved printed books. Printed books have a little advantage and I personally believe that this is what makes printed books so special. We can always make our little notes on the corner of the page and maybe sometimes also share our little memories and thoughts. We will always have a printed copy of the book with us and we do not need any device to read it, anytime anywhere we can have a book and read it. I personally love it when people gift already read or rather used books to others and have their little thoughts written on those corner of the pages.

I have two comments regarding the topic:-
1. ebooks are a good source of reading and reduce our handling. they are cheap and don't take a lot of space.
but the defect regarding ebooks is that it damages our eyes to a great extend.

2. normal books which we read and have fun which is little much costly if we compare it with the ebooks. they take too much space to keep it and require good handling.
the fun we have in reading is too much, we came to express our feeling with the book and show other people the same comedy thing.

it was my mind if you like I would be very happy.

But when I read any book I prefer a printed copy of it.
Reading a printed copy brings a different kind of fun with it and maintaining a library is entertaining.

Even if my preference for books has changed from storybooks to novels, I still have all the books I used to read earlier.
When we feel like reading a book again the hassle of downloading it and then getting a comfortable format is just too much.
Why should we do that when we can just go to our bookshelf, pick any book of our choice and start reading.

I like to read e-books too as many of the authors I like have some books in only e-book form.

But my first choice will always be a printed version.

Ebooks are convenient and the idea of having all your favourite reads in a portable rectangular screen is simply mind-blowing! I still am amazed at how the humankind pulled this miracle off. I have been open to both options, I have a numerous amount of ebooks in my Wattpad library but when someone would ask me, which one I prefered, I, without a single thought would yell 'Traditional books'. Why? Technology and internet have made things easily accessible, that's a boon ofcourse, but with things being so easily available and at hand, we have lost our appreciation towards small things. It's such a big flex for me when someone shows off their huge collection of books. I would turn into a logophile if I were surrounded by that many books and certainly I wouldn't hate it! I just have a few books in my collection, and when you have a book, very much of your own, and not a pdf file, you get a sense of belongingness everytime you touch it, it's not the same with ebooks, we get attached. We are privileged to have access to all these various genres of books with a tap of our finger but sometimes all you need is your good old Harry Potter novel in your hand, you might not even read it but simply admire the cover, running your hand over it, flicking through pages, and with every sensation of this delicate touch, it starts to feel more personal, it feels like home when you skim through those lines, recalling the first time you were reading it, in anticipation and in isolation when you had forgotten about the melancholy of this world. You chuckle lightly as you remember panicking over this particular page, because you had spilled a little bit of your coffee on it, ha! The familar smell of paper, you nervously holding the book as it gets more heated in those pages- it's an amazing experience, or maybe I'm just breeding in kalopsia. First advantages of online books
1)it is very accessible during traveling
2) even it is very compatible and can we read anytime.
3)it can be easily shared with friends and family.
Disadvantages of online books
1)it may damage our eyes
2) sometimes we can't find our desired book
Offline books(physical)
According to me offline books are preety good to read as we can physically touch it and turn the pages of it . In short we can properly feel and visualise every and evry sentence in a proper way.

Doesn't it looks strange that a non- living thing can be soo close to a living being. The most TRUSTED, TRUTHFULL, JOYFULL, CHARMING friend of humans is a book . Education can't be possible without books as our first step of learning starts with books and continues for ever. The full form of books is B- best O- orientation O- of K- knowledge . Yess that is the Best Orientation Of Knowledge which tells us many things about our lives. Books life-span is for ages as books have importance since humans have started reading and writing. BUT ......................... The 20st century's generation . especially when in the lockdown when the E- books came, most of the people started preferring E- books as they were free and could be easily available in our electrical devices like phones,laptops etc. As I am having spectacles I think books are much much better than E- books , as these e books are available in our electrical devices. These electrical devices works with the radiation in the air which causes harm to our eyes and higher the spectacle level and gives a lot of head ache if used for hours. Whereas the hard copy or the books doesn't affect our body as compared to E-books which are on our phones, laptops,PCs etc.

Think what if there were computers at that time, and both of them read ebooks instead. You'd say that it doesn't get the fairy tale feel.
What's this feel now?
The feel is what you get by holding a book in your hands and scrutinizing it's details.
The feel here is of the yellowness of pages which cannot be replaced by using the reading mode.
The feel of scribbling your name on your very own book and proudly watching it on your shelf.

All these do get you to the decision that ebooks can never replace the 'feel' of printed books. But we do need to keep in mind that ebooks have their own advantages and that their existence too is of much importance. We cannot neglect it.

We are the most "Tech-Savvy" generation present and are known to pick "Smart stuff" over "Simple Stuff" but when its come to books... most of us always prefer paperback, why?? Because its convenient and fun to read than E-books. E-books cant replace the feel of paperback. Prove me wrong! E books cant replace the feel of having a whole shelf full of our books!!
Paperbacks go easy on our eyes and are safe because if you download some E-books who knows it may have a virus!
A week ago I wished to read the book called The Martian, so I downloaded it, Read few pages but couldn't enjoy it, so I bought a paperback and guess what? I read it in 2 days!! Got my point?
Fellow readers, dont go against E-books!!
Why?? Here's why:
E-books are super portable, you can carry over 50 in your device and if you have a friend/family member who lives abroad and you want to share the book with him/her you can easily mail the book, see its convenient and yes, E-books are free.

There may be a lot of advancements in technology but technology cant and shouldn't try to change the feel of paperback books!

This led to the introduction of "e-books". I initially loved this idea of just downloading the books in our phones and reading them, but there is just the feel of the hard copy of the books that makes them much better: the feel of the copy in our hands, the beautiful font and no strain of reading constantly.
On the other hand, while e-books might be nice, they do not have that feel and enjoyment. Reading e-books for longer time periods can harm the eyes as the blue light that is produced from the screen of the devices can be really harmful.

So according to me, the normal books are way better than e-books.

if we ever need them in future for reference.

Printed books and e-books both are very good and helpful in their own ways, but I personally enjoy reading printed books more.

Further, we encountering the title and the author’s name each time we open/close the book helps consolidate our memory. As e-books simply open to the page you’re on, you don’t see the names often, making your memory of them shakier.

It is also easier to annotate on or scribble in the margin of print books. Of course, with e-books one can use key words to find a relevant topic. Yes, print books take up space. The latter are great for travel; you can carry as many titles as you want without feeling the weight.
