A is a powerful, ancient vampire. B is a mortal they encounter and become fascinated with based on their resemblance to a lover A had in a time long forgotten. While watching B from afar, A begins to covet them, and eventually decides that they must turn B and spirit them away from the world of the mundane. However, C, a very persistent hunter, arrives when A is in the midst of turning B, and sets to work trying to catch and slay the vampire—while also trying to halt the process of the change. 

It was hard to move in the water, which had to be Perseus' intentions; the playing field was leveled in the hero's favor and all Eden could do was try his hardest not to slip or fall in the water. That would mean the certain end for him—he would be submerged in Perseus' element, where there would be no true hope of reclaiming the upper hand.

Eden forced himself back a few steps as a sword sliced into the water he'd just been standing in. He could hear a soft growl of frustration, and the water continued to rise—but that wasn't alarming. What alarmed the captain was what he could hear in the distance, the concerning sound of...

Water poured into the tunnel, a powerful wave crashing over the antihero.

Eden barely caught a breath before he was taken under, and a hand caught him by the throat. It was dark and murky beneath the water, but Eden released the spear he had held onto for the duration of their battle back and forth. Now that he was held under the water, it was time to take more desperate measures. He wasn't at the end of his arsenal yet, and there was only one weapon that he could think was useful in such an instance, when he wasn't far enough from Zale to wield his longer weapons like dorata and xiphos.

It was a knife that appeared in his hand, long enough to be useful but still short enough that the closeness between himself and Perseus wouldn't prevent Eden from being able to strike. He lashed out, stabbing viciously at the body above him, striking at whatever he could make out in the murk.

It was like he was trying to stab at the water itself. Perseus was in the water, where he was the strongest, where even if Eden's blows could have had a chance to land the water would never allow any harm to come to the elemental that held him beneath the surface. Through the murky water, Eden thought he could make out a smile, one that was dark with triumph.

Yet again Perseus' blade cut through the water. Eden tried to move to evade it, but it was like he was moving in molasses, and pain exploded on the left side of his head.

Panic bubbled in Eden's throat, his lungs screaming for oxygen as his blood darkened the contaminated water that surrounded him, burning in the wound that was already searing with pain, a steady burn that spread from the left side of his head further into his body. As the blood seeped into the water, he could feel the grip on his throat loosening, his attacker retreating before blood that could kill.

He felt the water release him, beginning to recede, seeping away all at once and the gorgon hit the stone with a wet thump and a cry of pain.

Working on a starship was great. A has traveled to numerous solar systems, and now they're on a scouting mission into a far corner of another galaxy. Unfortunately, their shuttle malfunctions on a trip down to an unfamiliar planet, and instead of being able to radio for backup, they're collected by the natives of the planet and brought before B, the planet's bearing prince. Now A is betrothed to a prince who can't speak their language, and he can't contact his ship for backup or for rescue.

〔 pov 〕3rd only. i don't have a lot of comfort writing in 1st and i never write scriptive.

〔 length 〕varies. i can write anywhere from single paragraphs to novella replies. my comfort range is multipara to novella, but if you want faster replies, i can shell them out quicker with one or two paragraphs. that being said, i do have a tendency to get carried away and word vomit. i don't expect writing partners to match the length of my responses when this happens. write what you can, so long as you're not giving me one-liners. quality always comes before quantity.

Y/C stumbles upon a tomb where a man seems to be sleeping, frozen in time. There is a magic tome in the chamber and, in the fashion of so many fools, they choose to read from it. Unfortunately, Y/C is unaware of the propensity for magic their bloodline has, and they accidentally revive the boy king, Arthur. 

Faced with a reanimated man dead for nigh on a century, if not longer, Y/C must accompany Arthur on a quest to find his sword, pilfered from the tomb by grave robbers not so interested in his corpse. 

(In Y/C's defense, they didn't think he was dead.)

. . . one passionate night spent with a stranger met in a tavern complicates A's otherwise simple seafaring life. Nausea accompanied with a decline in energy clues him, and the captain and the sawbones of his ship, in to something being amiss.

When A discovers he's carrying, he does his best to hide it from the rest of his crew, including the sawbones (and the captain). He resolves to slip away from his ship at the next port they dock at, in order to tend to his growing babe.

Knowing only the name given to him by his baby's father, A isn't expecting to run into him when he's sneaking away from his crew. A pirate captain, B isn't the landlubber A had assumed he was, and he's excited to see the pearl he thought he'd never encounter again.
