Legend says that the raven symbolizes change in life, creativity, and humor. The raven is recognized as the bringer of light, and it is also believed to have released the sun and the moon. Additionally, legend has it that the raven is known as a trickster or the catalyst for change. It is quick to take action and extremely curious. The raven can also be greedy at times, but it is motivated by self indulgence. Last but not least, the raven can cause beneficial things to happen, but there is often a price that the raven will have to pay. The raven has a long straight beak that is often seen with a circle in its mouth, representing the story of having brought light to the earth.
