If you are applying to Heritage University and have a migrant/seasonal farmworker background, the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is for you.

CAMP is designed to help students begin their college careers. CAMP participants will receive a variety of services including personalized one on one academic advising, peer mentor program, multicultural enrichment, and college success seminars.

The Office of Advising is located in the Violet Lumley Rau Center (1700) and serves pre-major undergraduate students (freshman, transfer and re-admit) attending Heritage through the Toppenish campus.

Financial Aid

More than 95% of Heritage students receive financial aid — and you can, too!

Our Financial Aid office works with you find resources to help fund your education. You’ll have access to state and federal financial aid options found at any public university, including grants, work study and student loans. You’ll also be eligible for additional private aid only available to Heritage students! Plus, Heritage offers other aid options to help pay for additional expenses such as books, child care and transportation. With so many financial aid options, your total cost could end up paying less than another 4-year school.

Here’s another fact: Once students finish their freshman year, financial aid grants tend to increase. And continuing and transfer students often find that 100% of their tuition and fees are covered.

TRIO SSS Program’s mission is to increase retention and graduation rates of student by offering academic and personal support. It is committed to serving 160 low-income, first-generation college students and students with disabilities to earn a bachelor’s degree within six years. While student financial aid programs help students overcome financial barriers to higher education, TRIO programs help students overcome class, social, and cultural barriers to higher education.

Heritage University is happy to announce that Microsoft Office 365 is available for you AT NO COST! This is a FREE offer to all currently registered students.

Each student can install Office 365 on up to five home or personally-owned PCs/Macs. Office mobile applications are accessible on iOS and Android devices and automatically included with all Windows phones.

For installation assistance, contact the IT Help Desk at 509-865-8579 or ithelpdesk@heritage.edu. The Help Desk also has step by step instructions for installing Office 365 on Windows and Apple operating systems on MyHeritage.

Each student is evaluated and considered different based on personal needs and actual limitations. Scholarships

Beginning each Fall, students will be awarded institutional HU Excellence funds as part of financial aid packaging. When these funds are added to federal and state grant eligibility, you need only a minimal amount of self-help to cover full-time tuition.

HU Excellence Scholarships support incoming freshman with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $14,956. The gap between EFC, Federal Pell Grant, Washington State Need Grant and a subsidized Stafford Direct Loan eligibility will be covered by the HU Excellence Scholarship.

This equity model of financial aid packaging allows you to begin your academic programs with predictable financial support and mitigate your need to borrow!

Continuing students will also be eligible for HU Excellence Scholarship funds. If you were receiving Heritage Pledge funds in previous years, you will continue to receive this support until you graduate or exhaust your eligibility.

We also encourage you to complete the Heritage University Academic Scholarship Application for consideration of other merit scholarships.
