"More students should choose to do voluntary work during the long holidays rather than working for money. Discuss."

First of all, during the holiday, doing voluntary work can help you gain a lot of fitness, for example, running some tasks like assisting elderly and disabled people, cleaning the environment, donating, or doing charity to the orphanage so that their daily lifestyle quality can improve. Engaging in activities like this could give you an understanding of the reality in humanity. Some people may suffer more when they were born, struggling to live in poverty. It shows us the grace and hope that when we give, they receive the faith of having to live a harmonious life along with teaching the pupils to be sympathetic.

On the other hand, doing voluntary work doesn't require any experience or talent; they only give away things, and some may not feel entertained when doing it. A small number of students choose to find a part-time job to assist and earn some personal money at their will. Additionally, when the peers were employed, they got the chance to get some training and guidance from the job that they occupied, becoming more mature as well as gaining some advanced knowledge in life skills. Furthermore, some companies or workplaces can train specific techniques for them during the long holiday, as when they have already taken up the skills when graduating high school and stepping into university. However, focusing too much on the work could make the students lose their focus on subjects at school and soon struggle to take the knowledge back, making them fail some summer classes.

To sum up, both perspectives do bring benefits to peers as they assist them in gaining life skills and knowledge, as well as emotion and sympathy. However,  everything has two sides, like a double-bladed knife. If we couldn't fully understand the things that we do or control what we do, we could become negligible and have trouble adapting to social life like others.
