As the Main character, Brooks, was given the opportunity to drive a cool and expensive car, he quickly took up the deal where he was electrified with happiness as he was smiling, yelling, energetic, and had lots of pride. Later on, he got to date the prettiest girl from a different school.

Analysis:
The car made him feel very happy and the girl made him feel proud of himself as he was able to achieve something he hadn't been able to before. When he lost all that, he was sad in the moment, but then he realized what really made him happy. That was being himself where he'd have friends who support his weirdness and a family who is the most understanding. It is a movie about the holocaust and how this man named Schindler helped over 1,000 Jewish people become free. What I realized when people were most happy was when they had hope. Whenever they got an ounce of water or a fresh breath of air, they were thankful and more motivated to live. No matter if they worked all day, saw people get shot, or separated from their family, it is the thankfulness that they lived another day without a scratch on their body. He fell in love with Daisy who only marries people with money and popularity. So Gatsby gets money and popularity, but in the end, has nothing. Schindler's list, wealthy Jewish people get stripped of their wealth and end up with having less and less throughout the Holocaust until they have absolutely nothing except themselves.  
Analysis: 
The only time people were happy in both stories, is when they realized everything's worth. It was the journey that made people happy. In other words, it was what was happening before the actual event. To apply this to Gatsby, he was happy when he was attaining Daisy, but when he got her, he was disappointed and wanted to seek for more. To apply this concept to Schindler, yes I understand how horrific the Holocaust might be, the Jewish people kept losing their family members, their health, their belongings, but in the end, they were scared of what was going to happened when they reach the end. Analysis: I saw many images of the sun rising or the sun setting with an amazing scenic background. I wondered to myself, why do people categorize this as happy? Then I looked to what it made me feel. It made me feel empowered and like a dream that I would want to be there.

Answer: Happiness is shown through a dream/fantasy like situation. No where did I see people with money or objects. It is the feeling of being free.
