This quote connects to me because when I read it I thought of something I figured out how to do by myself for the first time. For Equality 7-2521 this discovery is huge and its like walking for the first time and rembering it. In this society you can just make something and have it succeed, escpecially when you live in a society that doesn't want to advance. For me this quote is a memory for when I first played the violin and sounded good. I relized I really liked playing and it was a very good moment.

When I read this quote I relized how important it was when Equality 7-2521 to finally have his individualism. He was searching the entire book in a society that wouldn't let him be one, but that he had to be a whole. And now he is a single one, and has the word to represent it too. Today everyone takes individualism and that the can be accepted for who they are and that they can stand out. When I read this book I thought of how I am able to be myself and be a single one.
