Beginning- Scoob is tired of being picked on at school by a kid who is white and makes fun of him and his friends cause they are black. He had enough one day and hit the kid. He got suspended and his dad was really mad.

Middle Scoob decides to leave on a road trip with his grandma without asking or telling his dad. He left his phone at home so his dad couldn't contact him and was left only to call his grandma. Scoobs grandma tried to take this trip years ago with Scoobs grandpa but couldn't because he got arrested because he got accused of stealing because he was a black man married to a white woman. Scoob is upset because grandma sold her house for a Winnebago they will travel in. They travel across america scoob faces some racism and learns a lot of things about nature. He uses an old map with locations that were safe for his grandpa back then

end: scoob learns that instead of being the innocent cute grandma he had was actually kidnapping him, he would ask to his dad and his grandma said no. Eventually she threw her phone away. He sees her almost take something from a jewelry store and thinks nothing of it until items that looked like the ones she tried on ended up in her jewelry box. He hears amber alerts about him and his grandma is acting really weird. They are stopping less now and he doesn't get to leave the camper anymore. Eventually his grandma gets caught and his dad comes too. His grandma had cancer and this is why she did all these bad things and was so irrational. It was too late to do anything about it. They had few happy days with her. They ended up finishing the journey with her beside them just not alive.

The plot very was generic at first and then it turned into something unique kid running away from home with his heartwarming grandma in a Winnebago she sold her house for.

I had a full image for every character as they were all fully described and illustrated constantly

This book was very unique and was one of few books that I could read ten times over.

I think this book targets young kids who are maturing. which is kinda what happens throughout the story

The book constantly brought new conflicts and interesting points and held me on the edge on my seat.

I would 100% recommend this book to others it was interesting it had real life factors and was also very fun. It was sad and also goofy. This book was everything I wanted it to be,.

Nic stone. Humor, Road fiction

I thought this book was very funny. Scoobs narrative made him out the be a funny clever character who could spawn a good joke out of any situation.

I think the book could've had a better ending, Although it resolved it I was left wanting more. What happened to scoob?

Was school fine when he went back? Did drake keep messing with him?

I think there are multiple messages in this book

1: Scoobs grandma went on a trip and stole jewelry because she knew she had cancer

2: scoob got grounded for reasons he though didn't make sense so he ran away with his grandma

What I took away from this is don ´ t do reckless things because of your emotions.

Scoobs grandma was scared and Scoob was angry at his dad.

Another thing I got from this book was you can always rely on family

Even though Scoobs Dad was mad at his Grandma he still came to get both of them and to spend time with both of them.
