Right before I dipped them I sprayed primer on them, then dipped. After both were dipped I let them dry for 24 hours then took the tape off(this is the best part) and they were finished. I used acrylic paint to paint these. I mixed pink and blue together to paint my outlet cover, and I painted white stars on top to add detail. For my light switch cover, I tried to do a gradient from white to pink, and I painted some flowers with two butterflies at the bottom.
