I think what makes a great referee is someone who makes a call and sticks with it - but can own up to their mistakes and look to improve.

You have to go into a game with an open mind so that you are fair.

You have to have a loud voice.

Have self confidence.

You have to not be bias.

Don't change your decision because it will confuse people.

What makes a good ref is that you have to be fit and have a good loud blow of your whistle. We have refs to make sure that the game is fair and a referee has to understand the game.

Can't change your idea once you have said something. To be a referee you also can't take bribes or be bias.

Can't be distracted during the match. You have to be confident when making decisions. You have to make sure that everyone listens to you.

You also stick with your opinians if you think it is right. you don't listen to arguing from the team.

Also you don't take bribes.
