Besides academics, division occurs within students in who we socialize with.
Holy:
We are Holy by our school motto, "Enlighten the mind, Inspire the soul, Strengthen the body."
Catholic:
Our Lady of Mercy shows its Catholicism by offering Adoration in the Chapel every Friday, and by bringing all lessons back to our faith. This ensures that we have Catholic values instilled in us. We also are welcoming toward foreign exchange students and people who come from different backgrounds.
Apostolic:
We are Apostolic by doing service projects and works of God, such as the pro-life trip.

due to the workload at OLM, sometime students are not able to have a strong spiritual connection in their lives. there are times when too much work can cause stress and anxiety, leading to other mental issues and causing animosity towards peers, teachers, and staff. not only does this cause rifts but also makes it hard to incorporate religion into our lives. from school to practice/extracurriculars to homework to family life, that leaves little to no time for God. there needs to be a happy medium between them all.
