Today I learned about three important people but i'm only tell about one. Her name is Harriet Tubman. She was born during slavery. She saw somebody getting yelled at and the person was about to get hurt but then she covered for them and got hit instead. Harriet had bad headaches and had a scar. Harriet wanted slavery to end, so she decided to escape with her family and she always stop at the underground railroad so she wouldn't get caught. She was apart of the Mongemary Bus Boycoytt. Unfortantly she died at the age of 93. Today Harriet Tubman has been an important person and brought a lot of people to the north.

What I learned today is Rosa Parks, Rosa Parks is that she got arrested refusing to move from the seat, a new rule they came up with is white people sit in the front, and black people sit in the back, so Rosa was sitting in the front of the bus instead of the back.

Today I learned about Madam CJ Walker and how she made a hair care line designed for black women. The hair products that we used today was made by Madam CJ Walker.

Today I learned about Ruby Bridges she has helped people of color and without color come together and help each other out when needed. She was the first black child to come to an all white school. She's the reason why we are here now. Today Ruby Bridges is alive and healthy, without her I don't know where we would be right now.
