Yes it is better but if there is a way for everyone the be saved always choose that option first. If one life can be used to save many other peoples life and the person is willing, then go for it.

I highly disagree because you don’t know the intentions of that adult that is telling you to do something. Not everyone you meet in life have good intentions.

2. Following family traditions is important.
I disagree because sometimes traditions go against what you believe in at the moment. Traditions can sometimes make you do things that you are not capable of doing anymore or that you do not want to do. A good example would be the "the lottery", where the people of the village followed a tradition where they were going to sacrifice someone in order to win the lottery. The person that got sacrificed did not want to follow this tradition (game), she did not want to do it but she was forced to do it, and ended up being the person sacrificed.

I disagree with the statement that winning the lottery is always a good thing because it is never a good thing. I don’t know the reason why they do the lottery but i do know that this person is not sacrificing themselves, they’re just dying. The lottery is a tradition in this town but it is not a good one, stoning someone to death without reason is unjust. I disagree, lives aren’t something you can weigh or calculate, it’s not that easy, what happens if the 1 person is our loved one while the lives of many are terrible people in history who killed many and have no intention of changing? Children should usually do what adults tell them to do but there are exceptions. For instance if the adult doesn’t care about the child’s safety why should the child listen to him, if the adult wants the child to steal things the child should definitely not listen to him. I disagree, though winning the lottery is a good thing, it is not always guaranteed. Many people can fall into worse financial problems because of quick reckless spending that is not always a need. Money can be drained very quickly and when it’s over you can be left with huge amounts to pay for the future like mortgage for a expensive house you bought.
