Anuoluwapo Shofuleji- The best The critical technique that works best for me is annotating. This is because annotating can help me gain a better understanding of the text. I can take the time to ask myself questions, and pick out the key points in a text. When it comes to looking at a source critically, annotating helps me pick at the text.

Daryan Zen Carasig
My favorite critical reading technique is just try to get my mind off of other things and just focus on what I’m reading. Sometimes, when I’m reading, I don’t understand the story because my mind just kind of think of other things rather than focusing on what I’m reading. So I try to get my mind to really focus on the story. Annotating will sure help too, this is one of the best techniques to use for reading. When I do this, I try to anotate every paragraph so I can get a better understanding on what was it about.

Marjan Mohmand- a critical thinking strategy that would work best for me is summarizing and annotating paragraph by paragraph. This works best for me because I can always go back and look at each paragraph and look at the words that I misunderstood of simply get an idea of what the paragraph was about. It’s easier for me to do this rather than having to remember off the top of my head what the paragraphs consisted of.
