This helped about 3 million people to find a steady job that helped the environment and payed around $30 per month. The corps helped to put approximately 4 billion dollars back into the economy. This lasted until 1943 at the very end of the great depression.

It ended because most of the workers in the CCC went of to serve in WWII, or to work in factories to produce weaponry for WWII. This mean't that the CCC didn't have many workers and that many of the previous workers got better jobs.
