Hello everyone ! Today with Emma, we will talk about the discrimination that is made to redheads, through a text from the huffing post ( famous English newpaper ) as well as the adversiting campaign called : Gingerism Love Carrot.

This document is a photography of a man and he is the principal subject of the photography . He is represent on the photography because , like the text, the principal subject of the company is the red hair .  The man of the photography is neutral and he look’s in the eyes of the people who looks the photography. This makes the subject of the adversiting compaign much more serious. We feel concerned through his eyes. In addition, the man is highlighted because thé background of the photography is black, like his shirt, which highlights him because we only see him. 

The text is also highlighted because it is white on a black background . Concerning the text , it is written : «  Rumour has is that . I’m supposed to stink, to be degenerated, violant and fake » . This slogan is intended to express the fact that redheads are excluded from the society and are therefore predestinated to be seen as inferior that others. This is outrageous in a society to advocates the acceptance of all !

->You can also see that other people participated in this adversiting compaign to defend their hair color which is their source of harassment in our society that stigmatizes them.

In the article, the actress Amanda Barrow gives several tips for people with red hair, being herself a redhead. She first lived in the United Kingdom and finally immigrated to the United States. It was there that she finally felt free because the peoples liked her red hair . In order to feel good like a redhead , Amanda advices to surround herself with enriching troughts about red hair and she gives the example of festivals for redheads in many countries ! 

She also says it would be positive for redheads to stop watching TV show and mainstream magazines, as she finds redheads are constantly indoctrined into believing that there is only one way to be beautiful. It advises redheads, to choose media that affirm their people, and it also advises to support laws and associations that promote their struggles to protect the rights of redheads, such as people with different hair color. She advises people of the same hair colour to start accepting themselves and accepting their differences before they even hear what other think of themselves. She wants to be an icon for all redheads who want to emancipiate themselves from any stereotypes that would bother them in their daily life, she has managed to make a very important decision, that is not to conform to a society and confront it with its deffects ! And she invites everyone to do so ! 

Our opinion of this text is very positive, as a citizen and human, we are  against any form of discrimination , As it is, because no one deserves to suffer so much. In terms of the poster it self and the related text, we find it visually strifing and important . Indeed, the associated text speaks of a rumour that redheads are supposed to stink, to be degenerated, violant and false.  those kind of adjectives that  can be used against redheads when they are only stereotypes and not truths. That is it why  we find this text very important for the struggle of redheads.

So to conclude, we think as citizens and humans, we must defend the rights of redheads as well as our personal rights because they deserves it ! You must act ! Be human ! I am redhead ! You are redhead ! We are redhead ! Stop bullying ! Stop harassment ! Stop stereotypes ! Stop rumors !
