Many people participate in at least one or more activities. The school strongly encourages and recommends each student to have a go at a particular sport. Students will participate in these sports because it is their way of bonding with people and making friends, they have a passion or desire to do well in the sport and to have fun. 

This ritual helps me develop myself as a better person because it enables me to feel better about myself and to appreciate others. People are required to sit and stand in silence for the majority of the time to show respect to the year 12's. The purpose of this is to commemorate the ANZACS that sacrificed their life for peace. Historically the school was originally set up and opened by the Christians Brothers who had a strong Irish Heritage. The school still recognises its history by the Irish Ancestry. They're given the chance to have a better connection with particular communities that are less fortunate then we are. Spirituality is shown when students are interacting with people in these communities and are participating in activities involved in each immersion programs. 

The immersion Program was a significant part of my life because it gave me a better understanding as how and why certain people are not as strong or fortunate as I am.
