Enjoyed working with a typewriter. Well , at least I pretended I was. The typewriter that I played with was broken. The typewriter was old and my dad had used it to get through night school. The poor thing finally gave out and didn’t work ,but I loved it so much my dad didn’t have the heart to throw it away.

Macintosh 1993

I was introduced to a Macintosh in middle school. It was exciting to get up and get to my keyboarding class. The amazement was overwhelming in having a way to write my thoughts and assignments into this amazing machine that would keep it saved for me to come back to with the help of a little square disk.

The World Wide Web is very slow ,but still very exciting!

The internet was place in our high school with the sole purpose of research. This was amazing to have an abundance of information at our fingertips. However it was very slow. You could do research , but at a very slow pace.

This provided chat rooms , AOL, and lots of information at home. The reason that my family decided to get the desk top for me to attend an online program through the University. On-line classes were new at this time and it was difficult to adjust to. Funny how far on-line classes have come.

Add a printer and a fax machine 2013

I was great to have these two amazing pieces of technology at home. This allowed me to create my own business . Communication was made easy and convenient.I could reach and get information to and from contacts in a short amount of time.

Time for Wi Fi 2014

No more annoying ,slow dial up. Wi-fi connection was a huge game change and made thing possible that were not before . The speed increase was wonderful and a big upgrade from the dreaded dial up,

My first lap top 2016

My first lab top and it has a short battery charge too!

The lap to made work and school assignments portable. This made group studying much easier. With wi-fi connections also become more available , the possibilities were endless.

Tablet time 2018

The tablet was a big game changer. The tablet was new and innovative way to get a lot done in an efficient manner. Apps were readily available to help people with almost anything .

The pandemic made us even more dependent on technology including school and work. 2019

What school and work????? Technology was our saving grace . Technology supported us to continue education and for many employment . Through this technological raft that kept us floating during the pandemic, many were still flustered at having to learn so much in such a little time. It was however exciting to see the swift advancement of technology during this time.
