         <title>Natural world wonder </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>Nature based learning has connection to not only mood, multi layered lesson, regulation or social belonging for each.<br></p><p>It is the economic skill building for sustainable futures and recognition that Mother Earth offers so much abundance to our lives, further for  generations to</p><p>Come<br></p><p>So come out at times out of the structure of lessons taught inside, and perhaps you will find the balance of more flex 💪 in your mastery. You won’t regret getting into this groove. As it primarily for my reason and passion of this share, will lead toward awareness, and engaged learning. Please don’t let yourself sit back and assume they are being educated at home about this heart of passion, Mother Nature </p><p><br/></p><p>Many have learned that tropical waters look more pristine, and by this I mean the students.  Perhaps they have yet to connect to the wonder of nature, as their family goes to vacations to experience the sea.  </p><p><br/></p><p>There are so many speakers in the area of having a guest come and visit the classroom for nature or land based </p><p><br></p><p>One day we may identify kinds of trees, next it may be which way the breeze blows and directives using the compass: In the above we have taken into account the time of year, the weather etc <br></p><p>Activities for art based lessons, could have the integration of n the images of shadow, a branch, a tree, or contrasts on bark and leaves found.</p><p><br/></p><p>Take it as it unfolds, such as the expectation of tailored measures could occur quite naturally in the developing and delivery. <br></p><p>It could be that as a class we set out to measure the width and circumference, and connect to the industry of forestry related history timelines in discussion,  it is not always limited to First Peoples usage and discoveries. Although you may notice the students finding things to make cordage or adopt as a tool to de web as part of trail wanders have web </p><p><br/></p><p>As a support person it is super important that whole class engagement, is first acknowledged for attendance.  And than with the eagerness having preloaded boundaries and expectations, give them the rubric they can become aware is a learning strategy for the class for these time-slots</p><p><br/></p><p>One primary teacher I have met in the work place uses popsicle sticks with names. As each student pulla a stick, that is their partner for assigned walk and talk , students have prompts offered by the teacher of which they choose off a list.  It is like having the circle, having a  conversation relating to the stories or topic of learning. Yet instead of the circle where it takes time to build and develop group cohesion in trust. This activity takes the literacy after lunch to a direct inquiry level.  I may also note that I’ve circulated in her classroom and many in snippets.  She is one teacher to read aloud in the class novel.  I couldn’t tell you how much meaning I have memory too for this offering my teachers gave me.   </p><p><br/></p><p>Instead of being bored with Shakespeare’s Romeo &amp; Juliette, I became eager to engage in the lesson. When the teacher took the witches for a comparative essay contrast. </p><p><br/></p><p>As stated I show up with the social emotional lens view, and I witness the hard work that is asked of teaching staff. </p><p><br/></p><p>These land based programs serve so many levels of growth, and cultivate the mindfulness, that we often presume ought to be naturally taught at home a little more.  The behaviour aspect will never be perfect. Teaching belonging is a concept that no one is behind or below the circle of safety in belonging level aspirations.  </p><p><br/></p><p>For social belonging and trust in a class set the tone, outline boundaries, set a specific level of expectation based on grade level and actual tailored guidelines </p><p><br/></p><p>And do the above with your spoken word that you may follow up and reflect what other guidelines can keep all safe, informed and focussed </p><p><br/></p><p>Some teachers pair up and this is such a great way to assist one another after a couple of sessions with one’s own class. </p><p><br/></p><p>Teaching mindfulness to nature isn’t asking you to go and hug trees and and sing koom by ya , whilst bringing up harsh realities re; environmental factors and degenerative effects.  It is the building of self awareness, inquiry based education, regulation for movement in learning focus. </p><p><br/></p><p>It is allowing the inquiry based or exploration of young ones to experience the outdoors, become familiar with the environment in the local eco shed. </p><p><br/></p><p>One can incorporate art, language arts and symmetrize the lesson with science based activities, which may include a pre loading for expectation, and engagement in the process.  </p><p><br/></p><p>One of my favourite memories from elementary, consist of Goldstream and the visit where we found a maple leaf already fallen.  Noting the time of year, taking the leaf and making a wax and crayon window decoration. And having the fun in the process by measuring who found the largest leaf.   The largest leaf was victorious but all of our leaves were hung up with the sizing notation and labeled Goldstream Autumn Walk </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Here are some circular module mindful task ideas using geometry, and also in the directive of motto reflections on building resilience, modeling the virtue, and really becoming it so , in itself is an on going work woven in the breadth of the class year, and yourself as a warrior of resilience. As each year and class cohort challenges a new level, here you are again. That’s amazing and we all know this for a fact. </p><p><br></p><p>My support role at times blocks me with a group or handful of students in regulation goal. What a task when I am done, as I walk past a classroom of twenty three, I realize this is a huge responsibility and everyone shows up in my eyes with dedication, resilience, and endurance </p><p><br></p><p>You can adopt my idea for strategy by encompassing a mindful journey anchor as exploratory leads into the individual and class or group journey to discovery </p><p><br></p><p>Use the shield as a way that you can attach life skill virtue, mindset or focussed assigned attention in really cultivating effort into the practice and use of the circle and shape art forms</p><p><br></p><p>The Coast Salish Tribe I am from uses flow, abstract void technique and symmetry as one side may represent the male aspect and the opposite side the female in creation.  </p><p><br></p><p>These examples of my work are direct reflections for my love of nature and life in all its natural ways it builds us</p><p><br></p><p>The reverence is up to each of us for reciprocal gratitude 🙏🏼 </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>
