Daylight and his friend peacock Tatu met at Sultan II. Bayezid Complex Health Museum. Daylight was very happy to see his friend Tatu and chatted with him.

Daylight got on very well with his new friends Pompom and Lucky, after a little chat he asked his friends to tell him about Edirne. Pompom and Tatu said Edirne is both a historical and a cultural city. ''This complex where we live is a historical building, people who were sick were treated here in the past, now it is used as a museum.''

Edirne is also one of Turkey's largest mosque, located in Selimiye Mosque built by Mimar Sinan.''

When Daylight heard this, he was very curious about these places and Lucky offered to visit him, and Daylight accepted this offer with pleasure and they went to the Meriç Bridge and Selimiye Mosque together.

With one of the pigeon he sat in the cab and with a group pf turists went on a small trip around Old Town. 

They admired beautiful buildings and wonderful architecture. 

He learned taht the focal point of the market are „Sukiennice”, where you can buy regional jewelery, souvenires and handicrafts, watch the art gallery of polish painting and sculpture, and drink tasty coffee in the famous cafe.
He also saw a town hall tower on the market square, monument of the polish poet- Adam Mickiewicz and „St. Mary’s Church with two towers; from one of them the trumpter plays bugle call at each full hour. He really liked the market, which was bustling with life; there were a lot of people everywhere, street artists and florists selling flowers.
The Daylight wanted to get to know the city better, so with his new friends he soared into the air, and after a while, she saw from above hill called „Wawel” with majestic royal castle. Not far from the castle the Daylight saw something strange- a huge fire-breathing creature. It turned out to be a sculpure of a legendary dragon , defeated by shoemaker Skubę.  Birds soared high into air and they noticed that the city is located by the river called Wisła, on which drift ships, houseboats and water tramps.
Pigeons showed the Daylight lots of interesting districts of the city,
 but to rest they decidet to take him to quiet and picturesque place- to the landscape park called Zakrzówek. 
There were a large lagoon, forest and monumental rocks.
The Daylight met there students, who where very interested in his unusual appearance and invited him to their school located nearby- 
to SOSW 3.
The children led her around the school, fed and watered her and finally allowed her to relax in school garden. Because it’s been late and another adventure awaited her, the Daylight said goodbye to pigeons and students and flew on, sure that she never forget the visit in this beautiful city.
