Upon learning of Tybalt's death, Juliet is furious and horrified as she calls Romeo a "beautiful tyrant" and "fiend angelica". However, upon remembering that Romeo is her husband, she soon starts to show her internal turmoil as she starts to regret her harsh words and cannot bring herself to hate Romeo no matter what he has done, even if such actions end with the life of Tybalt being ripped away from him. As Juliet says, "Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name, When I thy three-hours wife, have mangled it?" (3.2, 97-99). This quote emphasizes Juliet's internal turmoil, highlighting her despair in realizing that her beloved husband is behind the death of her cousin, questioning where her loyalties lie as she grieves for Tybalt yet is in despair when learning of Romeo's banishment. This demonstrates how Juliet is torn between the love she has for Romeo whom she cannot live without, and her grief over Tybalt's death which her beloved Romeo caused.

Juliet at the beginning of Act 3 Scene 2 was excited to see Romeo. We can tell this when she says "Give me my Romeo; and when I shall die, Take him and cut him out in little stars, And he will make the face of heaven so fine That all the world will be in love with night, And pay no worship to the garish sun." (21-25) This quote is Juliet saying that if Romeo was put into the sky the whole world would love the night time and they would no longer like the sun.

Upon learning of Tybalt's death caused by Romeo she at first cursed Romeo but when the nurse started to criticize Romeo Juliet began to defend him she even criticized herself and the nurse for judging him.Juliet said "Blistered be thy tongue For such a wish! He was not born to shame. Upon his brow shame is ashamed to sit; For 'tis a throne where honor may be crowned Sole monarch of the universal earth. O, what a beast was I to chide at him!"(3.2, 90b-95). She says that no dishonor or shame could ever sit on his forehead because his face is a throne where only honor can reign .This further emphasizes how much Juliet's love and affection for Romeo has grown to the point where she curses herself and the nurse who took care of her since childhood for judging and chastising him even though he killed her dear cousin .

When Juliet hears that Tybalt has been killed and Romeo has been banished she is confused and horrified that her husband has killed her cousin. She states "When thou didst bower the spirit of a fiend. In mortal paradise of such sweet flesh? Was ever book containing such vile matter. So fairly bound? O that deceit should dwell. In such a gorgeous palace!" (3.2, 81-85a). This quote shows her emotions because she thinks why should a guy that looks so handsome be so evil? She also doesn't want to belive that her husband killed her cousin.

After Juliet learns that Tybalt is dead and Romeo killed him she begins to use many oxymorons to describe how she believed he was a saint but he was really a tyrant, since he killed her own blood, but she then remembers that he is her husband and shames herself for putting shame upon his name, I feel like Juliet is more confused on how to feel about what happened than why it happened since she says "Beautiful tyrant, fiend angelical, Dove-feathered raven, wolvish-ravening lamb, Despisèd substance of divinest show, Just opposite to what thou justly seem'st," followed by "Blistered be thy tongue For such a wish! He was not born to shame. Upon his brow shame is ashamed to sit;" then" Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name, When I, thy three-hours wife, have mangled it? But wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin? That villain cousin would have killed my husband. Back, foolish tears, back to your native spring; Your tributary drops belong to woe, Which you, mistaking, offer up to joy. My husband lives, that Tybalt would have slain, And Tybalt's dead, that would have slain my husband. All this is comfort. Wherefore weep I then? Some word there was, worser than Tybalt's death, That murdered me. Juliet finds out from the nurse that there has been a huge fight between Mercutio, Romeo, and juliet. After waiting for some time she finds out from the Nurse that Tybalt has been killed and Romeo has been banished. She then finds out that Romeo was the person who killed Tybalt. Faced with the decision between Tybalt and Romeo he chooses Romeo, even though he killed Tybalt. Juliet says " Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name. When I, thy three-hours wife, have mangled it? But wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin? That villian cousin would have killed my husband." (3.2, 97-101). This quote shows just how Juliet makes the excuse that if Romeo didn't kill Tybalt, Tybalt would have killed him. This shows who Juliet takes Romeo's side, stating that it was self defence.

But then, the Nurse comes in, all upset, and Juliet's happiness turns to worry. When she hears "Romeo is banished!" (3.2, 70). it's like a punch in the gut. She says it over and over, like she can't believe it's real. Juliet uses big words to show how much this hurts. She says things like "That banished, that one word 'banished,' hath slain ten thousand Tybalts." (3.2, 113-114). She means that just the word itself is worse than losing so many people. It's like, if she had to choose, she'd rather everyone she knows died than Romeo be gone. She even says, "There is no end, no limit, measure, bound, in that word's death." (3.2, 125-126). This means that banishment is like endless death to her. She feels like the world is ending. Her feelings jump around like crazy, from love to fear to total sadness. She thinks banishment is way worse than death because without Romeo, life feels like nothing. She feels like she's lost everything.
