To go to the Biblioteca Vasconcelos you should take the subway from Mexico City International Airport. First, go to “Terminal Aérea” station (Line 5, the yellow line). Then travel two stations and get off at “Oceanía”.

At “Oceanía” you have to change to Line B (the grey and green line) heading towards “Buenavista”. Stay on the train until the last station, which is “Buenavista”.

Once you arrive at “Buenavista”, exit the station and walk for about five minutes. The library is located right next to the Buenavista train station.

You could also take a taxi or Uber from the airport, but I would recommend taking the subway because it is faster and cheaper, especially during rush hour.

3. Total travel time: Approximately 3 hours and 7 minutes.

By private or rental car

• Distance: Approximately 29 km.

• Travel time: Approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

After exiting the subway, you could walk through Chapultepec Park to reach the zoo, or you could take a taxi if you prefer. However, I would recommend walking because the park is beautiful and you would enjoy the view before arriving at the zoo.

If you wanted to visit to Basílica of Guadalupe in CDMX:

First, you should go to the nearest Metro station and take Line 6 heading toward Martín Carrera.

Next, you would get off at Deportivo 18 de Marzo station, where you could transfer to Line 3 heading toward Indios Verdes. After only one stop, you would arrive at Potrero station, but a better option is to stay on Line 6 and get off at La Villa-Basílica station, which is the closest stop to the site

From La Villa-Basílica station, you should walk for about 10 minutes following the signs to Basílica de Guadalupe. Along the way, you could ask locals for directions if needed, since the area is very well known. Finally, you would arrive at the Basilica, where you could explore the church, the plaza, and the surrounding historical sites.

If you arrive at the Mexico City International Airport, you should take an authorized taxi from the official taxi stand inside the airport. It would be safer and more comfortable than taking a taxi on the street.

First, you should tell the driver that you are going to the Casa de Frida Kahlo in Coyoacán. The trip would take about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on the traffic.

If you prefer public transportation, you could take the Metro from the Terminal Aérea station on Line 5. Then, you should transfer at the Pantitlán station and take Line 9 to the Chabacano station. After that, you could change to Line 2 and get off at the Coyoacán station.

From the station, you should walk about 15 minutes to the museum. You could also take a local taxi if you feel tired. It would be a good idea to arrive early because the museum is very popular.

Finally, you should buy your ticket in advance if possible. You would enjoy the visit more if you have enough time to explore the museum, the garden, and the famous Blue House.

When you exit the station, you should follow José María Pino Suárez Street until you find the museum building. It's in the Historic Center, so it shouldn't be difficult to find.

If you prefer something more comfortable, you can take a taxi or a ride-hailing app from the airport. In that case, you would give the driver the museum's address. The journey could take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you’re looking to learn about the arts and history in Mexico, you should visit the Museo Nacional de Antropología. To get to this place, I would do the following: I would take line 7 of the city’s metro from the San Lázaro station and transfer at Tacubaya to line 1, then get off at Chapultepec station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach the destination. You wouldn’t be able to get to this place in less than 50 minutes because there is usually a lot of traffic and many people using public transportation.

​Once you arrive at the entrance, you should be prepared to go underground, as the aquarium is built several floors below the street level. I would recommend buying your tickets online in advance to avoid the long queues, especially on weekends.

​Inside, you could spend a lot of time in the shark tank area, but you should also check out the "Acuario Interactivo" (Interactive Aquarium) located on a different floor of the mall. I would walk through the penguin exhibit at the very end; it's the highlight of the visit!

You should walk straight ahead into the park and follow the main path. You could also follow the signs that say “Castillo.” After a few minutes, you will see the hill where Chapultepec Castle is located.

You should walk up the hill to reach the castle. It would take about 15 to 20 minutes, so you should wear comfortable shoes and bring some water. If you prefer, you could stop and take pictures along the way.

When you arrive at the top, you would buy a ticket at the entrance. Inside the castle, you could explore the museum and enjoy one of the best views of Mexico City.
