There is a phone, most likely belonging to Marcel, which has digital evidence on it. This tells us that Marcel was most likely hit with the baseball bat and he fell face first onto the ground. The spatter of the blood shows that Marcel was hit with a blunt force. He was a student at Anytown Community College, working part-time at a local bistro, the Biotic Bistro Restaurant. Naomi Lee, the local restaurant manager, became concerned when Marcel had not shown up for his Saturday night shift and Sunday brunch shift, as it was unlikely for him to miss his shift without explaining or calling. After his sister or roommate, Cam, had not been further contacted by him, Lee called the police. Law enforcement arrived at Marcel's house, finding him face down on the floor unresponsive. From viewing the digital evidence, it seems as that Marcel was recently arguing with Cam about his new friend, Aiden, who Cam did not seem to trust. Aiden was caught going through one of the cabinets in their apartment, as well as claiming to meet Marcel at work on Friday, adding on to the further suspicion of him. The medical professional at the scene confirmed Marcel dead on arrival at 2:00 PM, Sunday afternoon.
