Some personal qualities I developed through this act of service was leadership (more for my nephew) and communication skills. Any time I'm able to serve others gives me a rush of positive emotions. Nothing self-serving, just feelings of gratitude, thankfulness, and gladness that I'm able to serve and help those who need it. These feelings encourage me to find more opportunities to serve.
