They look on with hope. They have fears and they have dreams. The student leaves the car, and the parent looks on as their child walks away in hope for better. The student approaches the classroom  in anticipation, hoping for learning and a better day. The teacher walks up to greet her students in hopes for change. Despite the system, they all continue on. There is trust, and hope here. There are lives to be lived and small seeds to water. Collectively we must cultivate one another. Cultivate minds and hearts.
