No arms nor legs, Horns, Patterns, Front facing eyes

Function: Serperior is just what its name sounds like: Superior. It has lost the need for arms and legs that it had in its past two evolutions. The eyes have moved completely to the front of its face to become a predator instead of the prey. The horns it has grown is to show its dominance to the rest of the kingdom, along with the elegant pattern it developed.
How it has changed over time: Serperiors have come a long way. They have moved close to the top of the food chain. They lost the need for arms and legs, and their eyes have moved to the front of their head rather than the sides. They show dominance with the horns the scare most other Pokemon. Finally their beautiful patterns allow for them to find more mates to create an even more royal appearing Pokemon species.
The benefits of change: Without the arms and legs, Serperiors are able to glide across fields of grass out in the open and no longer need to hide from others. They are nowhere near close to a prey and therefore their eyes have moved to the front of their faces. They only need to see what is front of them to attack. The horns scare away any predator that comes into Serperiors way. Finally, the pattern on their skin allow them to reproduce and create more of a royalty stance in the kingdom and remain on top of the food chain.

Larger, Short leaf arms, Pointed heel, leafy tail

Function: Servines grew much larger than Snivys allowing them to move up the food chain, but giving them less of a reason to need long arms. Therefore they have gotten shorter. More leaves on the Servine´s body attracted smaller insect type Pokemon for the Servine to have. The heeled foot allows for a Servine to launch itself into a sprint to attack a prey.

How it has changed over time: Compared to the Snivy, the Servine is a lot stronger and is higher on the food chain. They have also grown much taller which intimidates most predators. A Servine has lost the need for its arms resulting in them to be left to leaf looking hands. The pointed heel mutation is one that has been spread all over the Servines because of how useful it is in attack.

The benefits of change: The smaller arms have added two more ways to attract smaller pray to itself. This goes along with the tail which instead of being used to camouflage, it instead attracts food that helps the Servines grow more and more. The heeled foot is the most important evolution of the Servine. The heeled foot has allowed a Servine to take off at incredible speeds. This feature has brought Servine to the higher middle of the food chain.

Long Arms, Wide set eyes, Large tail

Function: The long arms are used as an attack mechanism to account for it´s small body, as is the tail. For being small it is very prone to be attacked by larger predators. The large eyes give a Snivy the ability to watch what it is around to protect itself from attack being as it is a prey at this stage.
How it has changed over time: A Snivy´s arms have grown over the years longer and longer. The Big eyes have moved farther to the sides of the head rather than the front of the head where they at one time were. The leaf on the tail has also grown through the years to help camouflage.
The benefits of change: Snivy is a prey, meaning it is attacked by larger more fit Pokemon than itself. The longer arms allowed for a Snivy to attack a predator to escape from it faster. The eyes allowed for a Snivy to spot a predator sneaking up from behind a Snivy. The tail allows a Snivy to hide from predators. The Snivy is able to hide behind its tail in dense areas of a forest.
