Both are actually 5 years; however, it shows how dealers will position the rates and payments to entice you.

One of the key points I would pass on is have a very frank discussion with yourself to identify your driving habits, patterns, credit, budget, and work with that calculation to find what works best for you. If you really like having a new car every few years and want a more expensive one, leasing may be best - however, you will never 'own the car'. One thing you may want to consider is lease first, then buy it out at the end. This is a great way to try it out.
