The reason a I wold like to visit Geneva is because there is the CERN. Although in the video the CERN is not mentioned, the other places that are mentioned are not less important and interesthing.

https://youtu.be/a6GnoIXbYHw?si=G5jm1ho_JZuNxdrn

The beast invention for me: the particle accelerator

First, watch the video above for understand how does a particle accelerator works. The firt particle accelerator was constructed by Ernest Lawrence in 1939 for isotope separation with war purposes. However it continued working for researh on medicine. The first large particle accelerator was constructed in 1953; and in 1954 the Betraton at Berkeley was completed to confirm experimentally the existence of antiparticles. Along the years more and bigger particle accelators have been created for achieve larger energies, because larger energies allows us to extract more fundamental information from the structure of the matter. In last years, CERN has been in the front of these investigations. Now my five reasons why this is the beast of all:

Allows us to research the structure of the matter, which is a question we'v wondered about for millenia.

All the engineering that is behind the construction of these machines has been useful subsequently for technologies that we use everyday (www and http, as a example).

As invenstigation centers, the particle accellators atracts scientists from all the surrounds of the world, enriching multiculturism.

Powers the ecomyes of the countries because of the last two reasons, generating a lot of jobs that advance the technology.

Its all about the knowledge field I am more apassionate about.

Thanks for reading.

Is social media good?

Social media is good and useful as we use it with the purpose it was created and we don't abuse of it. A bit of enterteinment never come bad, but when you are all the time watching content its overstimulating your brain and it damages itself. Like all the technologies and a lot more of things, the good or the bad lies on how we use it. Every social media, say youtub, tiktok, instagram, etc has a lot of particularities on social behavior that we can analyse so deep. My favorite social media is youtube, but my favorite one to analyse is twitter, because it hosts a lot of topics people talking about with a format that is more comfortable than the comments section of facebook.

I've heard people that say our lives are out from the social media, but I think that they are missing that now its part of our lives. Roughley speaking, social media may be the most important thing in society because it makes communication easyer, allowing a great flow of information, since the knowledge and enterteinment until the commerce and the work. But I understand they mean people that makes all their social life and personallity on internet. Its understable for me that people can be absorbed by internet, but I think we always can impose our will over the vice of scrolling.
