         <description><![CDATA[<div>many religious people living in England disapproved of the church of England and sought out a place of religious freedom ,a place of purity, America. About 102 people boarded the mayflower a ship heading for the new world. It took about two months to get to america by sea and they were met with some challenges upon there arrival ,for there religious freedom the colonist gave up there safety    and were afraid of dying by starvation, exposure and "savages".the colonist dealt with a lot coming to america , they did not have shelter,food or security but risked it all for a better life and opportunity to practice there religion.<figure class="attachment attachment--preview"><img src="http://www.pbs.org/godinamerica/art/ppuritans.jpg" width="300" height="169"><figcaption class="attachment__caption"></figcaption></figure></div>]]></description>
