Yokohama DeNA Baystars because this team is my favorite

3) Analyse the history of the teams sport uniform & colours that are applied

Color used blue white and yellow. These color has different meaning for each. Blue color shows imarge of Yokohama Bay and White shows the pure or White Ball, also yellow shows the imarge of theam (Bay STAR). Because star is yellow and shining

I think symbols influence a sports team, the case of Yokohama DeNA Baystars, team color is blue because Home studium at the Yokohama Bayside. And other team such as Hiroshima To-Yo CARP has red team color. This color made by CARP, because Hiroshima prosperous cultivate carp throught the ages.

• How are team colours decided? (For example: The Springboks play in green and gold jerseys with white shorts, and their emblems are the Springbok and the Protea)

I think team color decide by imarge of owner or home town For example New York Mets and Mets (Drink) logo are same and Tronto Blue Jays has logo of bluejay (Bird) because Blue Jay is very beautiful and symbols of tronto

Culture gives name for team such as YOKOHAMA BayStars or TOHOKU Rakuten Eagles. And these things influenced to team logo or colors. Case of color, most of team follow the imarge color of home town.

• Also shoe for fans so design of shoe should be good design.

1) Can design change culture?

Yes because when team becomes famous the hometown of team becomes famous too. For example in Europe, Soccer changes the culture. Most of area　has own team and each area people follow their own team and sometimes their identity changed by teams and sometimes different culture supporter make accident.

2) Does form follow function?

No but it should follow the function because to make form there are no rules or law, so we could make any form of team but to make impact or image of team we need to show something relate to our team such as team color or team logo.

3) Does innovation create　competition?

Yes because when someone made new and cool innovation of design we feel we want to use that design, but when I vie people I feel I want to make better product or innovation than people who made before. And this skill can use for me likes self-evaluation or compare own design.

SPORTS SHOE FINAL DESIGN: Concept 2

This concept 2 most of people put high grade and also this is my best design. But this design has negative point such as link to image of Bay-stars. Because everyone did not think this design can image Yokohama DeNA Bay-stars so much.

So in conclusion this design is best design for shoes but not relate to Yokohama DeNA Bay-Stars too much.

Evaluating PROTOTYPES for 'CLOUD SURFING - SPORTS SHOE DESIGN & UNIFORM'

To improve my products for 'CLOUD SURFING' I could consider the following;

1. Colour - a wider range of colour options
2. Material - fleece for extreme cold weather (instead of polyester)
3. Size - Men & Kids design could be included
4. Durability - how long will it last? (testing wear & tear)
