Reflect,Transmit, and Absorb

Reflect is a beam of light or anything that goes off of something after getting directed at the object. Ex. A beam of light reflects off of the tin foil because for one reason it isn´t a dark color like black which absorbs a lot of heat. Transmit mean light can travel through an object instead of deflecting off or absorbing the light or heat. Ex. If you have a Magnifying Glass the light travels through the glass to create the heat. Absorb is using the heat to combine in the object or outside to create heat. Ex. A black sheet of paper absorbs heat because it is black and not able for light to go through or deflect off of it so it absorbs the heat to heat things up.
Example of Reflection Below
