As the world population is growing bigger and bigger ,the popularity of organic foods has risen dramatically over the past 20 years
If you are thinking about making the transition to organic foods with your eating habits, then these are the pros and cons to consider today.
One major pros : Organic food is an enviromentally friendly method of production
Organic foods are often chosen because people are trying to avoid artificial chemicals. Eating these items can reduce your exposure to some pesticide residues. It may also lower your risk of exposure to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. There is evidence to suggest that eating organic foods can reduce your exposure to cadmium by 48%. Pesticide residues are four times more likely to be found on traditional crops like compared to organic ones.

While healthline reports that organic dairy products can contain higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids when compared to traditional items. Milk products may also contain higher levels of vitamin E, iron, and carotenoids. If you choose to eat organic meat products, then you can receive up to 23% higher polyunsaturated fat in your diet compared to non-organic items. Even the levels of omega-6s are 16% higher in organic meat, but omega-3s can be up to 47% higher when consuming chicken or pork.
And also there are studies which suggests that non-organic foods taste the same as organic items, there can also be a clear difference in the flavor profile of some food products. Fruits and vegetables which are grown through this process tend to benefit from this advantage the most. Because this produce grows the more slowly when compared to cash-crop growing methods, it tends to have lower water content. This structure contributes to the fuller flavor profile that some people experience.
It is easy to see the advantages what about the disadvantages
Some organic foods may have fewer nutritional items included per serving when compared to traditional crops or products. Organic milk is one such example. It may contain less iodine and selenium, which are two critical elements for good health. Several studies have found that there are no differences between the traditional food chain and the organic food chain when evaluating the nutritional profile of similar items. A total of 233 studies finds a lack of relevant evidence to conclude that organic items are more nutritious than non-organic ones.
Second, Consumer Reports compared the cost of 100 organic items and their traditional counterparts. The overall results that they found were that the organic items would cost an average of 47% more than foods produced through a more conventional process. The comparison range in price was quite fast. In some instances, the organic foods were even cheaper (like organic honey). Some produce items had the same cost, including olive oil, cream cheese, and carrots.
And the last organic food are not always available in community There is an ever-increasing demand for organic foods across the United States and around the world. Availability is greater today than it has arguably ever been before. There are still locations where you can only find these items in the health food stores. Many local grocery stores are carrying more items with this label, but regions dealing with food scarcity are still struggling to bring in these items. Over 60% of Millennials purchase organic during their shopping trip, which is changing the supermarket industry, but it is still a transitory process that requires more time to access everyone.
In conclusion The pros and cons of organic foods may be best summed up by this quote from Prince Charles.

“it is vitally important that we continue to say, with absolute conviction, that organic farming delivers the highest quality, best-tasting food, produced without artificial chemicals ...."

Organic farming and food production is becoming more popular and more profitable year on year, and the amount of organic food sold in the UK and in many other countries just keeps rising. This is partially a result of concern for the safety of common pesticides and the desire to encourage kinder, more environmentally friendly food production techniques. However, i will give you a few general guidelines on the real benefits and even a few negatives about eating organic. First, let's talk abouy the pros of it. Organic food production is generally more sustainable and gentler to the environment. Moreover,Organic foods can be expected to have lower levels of pesticides and pesticide residues. Organic crops are more nutritious than conventional crops. And it's healthy to people who consuming the products. Now we will move to the disadvantages. Organic food is expensive. If you want to go completely organic, you’d better be ready to open up your wallet. Organic foods don’t last as long. It’s a minor point, but the lack of preservatives in organic foods means they spoil quicker, which can mean more frequent shopping trips and wasted food. It can be hard to find a good variety of organic foods. If you don’t have a Whole Foods in your neighborhood, it can be tough to find a store with a large selection of organic foods. Consuming organic food on the other hand offers a number of advantages as well as drawbacks.

Initially, organic foods are those that are free of synthetic chemicals, growth hormones, antibiotics, and genetically engineered organisms. Organic food is good for your health, but it is also pricey, making it unsuitable for low-income individuals or those living in remote regions. Organic food is also tough to come by, as the majority of it is only sold in supermarkets, where food is controlled for safety and environmental cleanliness.

Nowadays thanks to the development of food industrial rich people can easily approach a healthy living lifestyle by controlling the quality of food that they consume. In the past few decades, the amount of organic food that people consume has increased rocketly. The essays below will discuss both views of organic food consumption.

Firstly, by controlling the quality of food that consumers consume, it brings a lot of health benefits. Fewer harmful chemicals like pesticide and herbicide will be used in order to keep the best quality of the food. Moreover, more nutrition will be provided as the farmer uses eco-friendly methods and clean fertilizer to grow vegetables and raise cattle and poultry. This may solve and reduce some major soil pollution problems.

Despite the fact that organic food has many advantages, it also contains numerous problems such as exorbitant prices, seasonal and limited selection. To produce organic food, farmers have to use 100% clean and strictly avoid using harmful chemicals such as herbicide and pesticide or chemicals fertilizer so organic food tends to be unaffordable with regular citizens, only wealthy people can. Time-consuming is one of the disadvantages of using organic food. By using harmful chemicals, farmers can limit the time they collect the product but organic food takes tons of time to harvest. In addition, healthy food products like that are hard to find and also difficult to recognise. This leads to a major problem in society: fraud.

To sum up, eating more organic food products can improve your health, using more environmentally friendly methods but also have expensive prices and contain crucial problems to society.

In this day and age, as people are more concerned about their health and living habits, the trend of using organic food has proliferated in recent years. Although this trend has some benefits, it still has certain drawbacks that we cannot ignore.

Admittedly, consuming organic food brings a number of benefits. The most obvious advantage, in my opinion, is extremely good for healthy lifestyles. Studies have shown that organically farmed food has higher concentration of nutrients and antioxidants as well as lower levels of chemicals and pesticides. Another plus point of this style of eating is clean and safe to eat, and has a better taste as well because most of naturally grown food items contain additives which can alter the taste, nutritional value. Furthermore, when planting organic food, farmers apply eco-friendly farming methods which not only saves a lot of money but also protects the environment from being polluted or being contaminated by using chemicals.

However, organic food still has significant disadvantages. The main adverse feature of consuming organic food is the high prices. As it takes longer time to produce and has a high quality that this kind of food is quite expensive, and people who have a tight budget or have a low income will find it difficult to purchase . Another glaring disadvantage is most of shops which sell organic food are located in big cities so that it is not available for everyone, just a certain segment of population. And last but not least, the production of organic food depends much on weather, and season so it requires a lot of care from the farmers.

In conclusion, although the advantages of consuming organic food cannot be denied, it seems that the drawbacks of this trend do outweigh the benefits.

As the vast majority of the world population is leading sedentary lifestyle, which results in many health related diseases, modern people are looking for an alternate source of nutrition, not from processed food, but organic ones. To consume or not to consume organic food has been a controversial discussion around the advantages and disadvantages. This essay will examine into both cases with evidence.

First, consuming organic food is beneficial. The use of chemicals and pesticides has been linked to a wide range of diseases, such as cancer of the breast, immune disorders. Just only herbicides and fertilizers are able to lead to immune disorders, heart diseases hypertension, cancers and other numerous diseases. So taking all of them out of the equation makes the food you eat a lot safer. Secondly, buying organic food may be expensive initially, but people will save money in the long run. Remember that whole foods prevent major and minor diseases, lowering health care costs because you are unlikely to get sick and be confined in a hospital. Moreover, you won’t miss work and your income will remain intact.

On the other hand, it takes twice as long to produce organic crops than the conventional kind. This means organic foods are not always available in stores, and especially because only a few local farms are adapting organic farming. Secondly, they get gotten so fast, as compared to chemical farming food. This is the most alarming fact related to organic food. It goes off the shelves rather quickly. Actually, organic food is produced without artificial preservatives or irradiation. From that, they tend to be spoiled faster than processed non-organic food.

In conclusion, despite some drawbacks of consuming organic food, I believe switching from processed food to organic products is a lifelong benefit.

At present, food security issues are considered as one of the most important problems, especially those in developing countries, must be faced. As a result, consumers tend to pay more attention to organic food. Some think it must be promoted broadly while others consider it to have certain limitations when used based on excellence and losses.

First and foremost, studies showed that organically farmed food has higher concentrations of nutrients and antioxidants as well as lower levels of chemicals and pesticides. In addition, most naturally cultivated foods generally have tastes better and are cooler and more natural than some non-organic foods containing additives that can change taste, nutritional value and can even lead to weight gain. What's more, when planting biological food, farmers often apply ecological farming methods that allow them not only to save them a lot of money that would be devoted to chemicals, but also protect the pollution environment and contamination of neighboring water bodies. The number of stores that sell real organic food are not very high; Therefore, the supply of organic food can be quite scarce.

In conclusion, the consumption of organic food brings a lot of benefits, but its drawbacks in term of high price and scarce supply make it less popular among usual consumers.

There have been debates about whether or not organic food is better than conventional food. Before one can decide to go for organic food instead of conventional food, he or she must weigh the advantages and disadvantages of organic and non-organic foods. In this article we will look at the advantages and disadvantages of organic foods. Organic foods have many advantages which make them better than conventional foods. Below are some benefits that one can derive from organic foods. Organic foods help prevent certain diseases such as Cancer, stroke and other heart diseases. Research has shown that organic fruits and vegetables contain about 40% more antioxidants than non-organic fruits and vegetables which reduces the risk of cancer, stroke and heart diseases. Organic foods also contain salicylic acids which help prevent hardening of arteries and cancer. Organic foods protect the environment from pollution since chemicals which cause environmental pollution are not used in cultivating organic crops. Example certain chemicals when used in crop production will kill the micro organisms or even pollute nearby water bodies. Organic soils contain more micro organisms than conventional soils. These micro organisms store carbon in the soil which helps to maintain the global climate. Organic farming helps to conserve the soil and water.Although organic foods have many advantages, they also have disadvantages which are given below. Organic foods are very expensive as compared to non-organic foods. This is because majority of farmers only produce conventional foods. Also most farmers and food producers want to maximize profit, by using chemicals to increase the size and quantity of their produce. The cost of production of non-organic foods is less as compared to that of organic foods which results in a lower price for non-organic foods than the price of organic foods. Organic foods don't last long since they do not contain preservatives. Non-organic foods last longer than organic foods. Preservatives help food manufacturers and at times consumers to store food for longer time which helps them to save money. From the advantages and disadvantages stated above, it can be seen that the advantages of organic foods are more than the disadvantages. Some of these disadvantages can even be eliminated.Based upon these facts, I fully support the growing and eating of organic foods.

Along side the development of society, human beings have become more concerned about their health and living habits as the phenomenon of consuming organic food prevalent in today’s society. Whilst some maintain that topic offers numerous merits, others condemn it due to several potential risk. In this essay, I will examine both the opposing viewpoints of organic food consumption before reaching my final conclusion.

Benefits of consuming organic food are hard to deny. The first to mentions is that they give people a great deal of health benefits. Fewer hazardous chemicals will be used to maintain the greatest quality of food, such as pesticides or herbicides. To be specific, a recent French study followed 70,000 individuals for five years and discovered that those who frequently ate organic developed 25 percent fewer cancers than those who never ate organic. Another plus point that should be taken into consideration is farmers apply eco-friendly farming methods in the growing of organic foods that not only save a lot of money but also prevent the environment from being damaged or poisoned by chemical products.

Turning to the other side of arrangement, consuming organic food may entail several drawbacks. One of the main negatives is the high prices, as for numerous procedures must pass through food lead to much higher pricing tags. As a result, it is really impossible for people who have a tight budget or low income to afford these food. Another observable pitfall is most markets selling organic food are located in major cities, which is difficult for individuals to find, especially those people living in suburb areas. And last but not least, most the production of organic food depends much on weather, which means they are not a sort of food sold a year around.

On the whole, consuming organic food has both pros and cons. For one thing, it grants people’s health, meanwhile some people believe that organic food is not suitable for themselves as it is expensive and hard to buy. Personally, I inclined to the fact that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

But most of all, consuming organic food has two sides: advantages and disadvantages.

Consuming organic food is beneficial. First of all, organic food is very clean and safe for people's health because contains fewer pesticides than non-organic food. Eating these items can reduce your exposure to some pesticide residues. It may also lower your risk of exposure to antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Consumers will have more chances to use nutritional foods without any doubt. In addition, farmers use eco-friendly methods to cultivate so they spend fewer expenses on farming and can make big profits from selling their products. Accordingly, the price of organic food is quite expensive and buyers have fewer choices in favorite foods. Moreover, organic food is difficult to find. There are still locations where you can only find these items in the health food stores.

The popularity of organic products has increased drastically all over the world in the past few years. In consequence, numerous questions were raised about the advantages and disadvantages of organic foods. In my opinions, although organic foods are well-known because of the benefits that they bring, they also have several drawbacks too.
Firstly, organic are defined as "produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents". Organic foods are not only sustainable and eco-friendly but also bring a lot of health benefits. Because of the lack of chemical used in production, organic foods are considered healthier and safer compare to normal products. Another bonus point is that farmers does not need to use hazadous chemicals for farming such as pesticides and artificial fertilisers, which protect the evironment from being polluted.
On the other hand, there are also some downsides to organic foods. Because producing organic products take a much longer period of time and money, they are not widely adapted among farmers. Furthermore, the cost of organic foods are much higher than regular products, not to mention they are also seasonal unlike conventional food, which make them difficult to find in shops and markets.
In conclusion, organic food not only have a lot of benefits to both human and environment, but also bring some considerable drawbacks. Hopefully, these downsides will be settled by scientists in the near future with the help of modern technology.

Nowadays, organic food is attracting more and more consumers because of the non-chemical treated, fresh, and minimally processed food, organic products can be widely available in most of the supermarket and many of the smaller supermarkets. However, consuming organic food has some pros and cons, too.
First of all, eco-friendly, healthy organic food. Certainly, consumers choose organic food because it is safe, avoids artificial chemicals, reduces pesticide residues, contains higher omega-3 fatty acids than other foods. Dairy products are also higher in vitamin E, iron and carotenoids. Secondly, organic meat products are about 8% higher in monounsaturated fat when compared to non-organic items. Along with other fatty acids found in organic products, you'll need to eat pork and chicken to get the best absorption. No difference in the amount of saturated fat was found in both meat groups.
On the other hand, through survey and cost comparison of 100 organic and traditional products. The results showed that organic food items cost about 47 percent more on average. Because every manufacturing process goes through a more conventional process. However, there are also some items that are cheaper or have the same cost. For example, olive oil, carrots, cream cheese, etc. Moreover, consumer Reports compared the cost of 100 organic and traditional items. As a result, organic items cost an average of 47 percent more than food produced through a more conventional process. However, the price comparison range is also quite wide. In some cases, organic foods are even cheaper (like organic honey). Several manufactured items have the same cost, including olive oil, cream cheese, and carrots. Organic zucchini can cost up to 300% more than conventionally grown zucchini.
Although there are some insignificant disadvantages mentioned above, organic food is still a very sought-after good source. Since there are different levels of organic food, product selection needs to be done carefully to ensure good quality. Some low-quality organic products are labeled 100% organic. This is a trick of greedy traders. When choosing, users need to carefully read the information on the packaging. Determine the % organic content in the nutritional composition of the product. Help buy standard organic products that are worth the money you spend.

Recently, lots of people have suffered from cancer and other chronic diseases. Scientists have conducted research and found that one of the main causes of this comes from the consumption of unhealthy or unclean food on a daily basis. People are now more aware of food safety and hygiene, and become more interested in organic food which is considered to be extremely good for their health. This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of consuming food that comes from organic sources. First and foremost, studies showed that organically farmed food has higher concentrations of nutrients and antioxidants as well as lower levels of chemicals and pesticides. Besides, most of the naturally grown food items usually taste better and are fresher and more natural than some non-organic foods that contain additives which can alter the taste, nutritional value and may even lead to weight gain. As a result, organic food is clean and safe to eat, and has a better taste as well. What's more, when planting organic food, farmers often apply eco-friendly farming methods which not only save them lots of money that would be spent on chemicals but also protect the environment from pollution and contamination of nearby bodies of water. (However, organic food has its own drawbacks. The first one is its higher prices compared to non-organic food due to its slow production. Organic farmers do not use chemicals or artificial methods to grow crops or livestock, so the production seems to take more time. Additionally, the production of organic food also depends on weather, suitable lands and farming methods, so it requires a lot of care from farmers. Moreover, the number of shops that sell real organic food is not very high; hence, the supply of organic food can be quite scarce. In short, the consumption of organic food brings a lot of benefits, but its drawbacks in term of high price and scarce supply make it less popular among usual consumers.

In the modern days, organic food has been popular as people are paying more and more attention to the quality of the food they consume. The consumption of this type of food brings significant benefits to people’s health in general, but it also causes severe consequences.

First of all, one major factor that contributed to the increasing popularity of organic food is that it is an environmentally friendly method of production. Organic foods are often chosen because people are trying to avoid artificial chemicals. There is evidence that eating organic food can reduce your exposure to cadmium by 48%. In addition, the purchase of organic food will support the local economy. Because organic foods do not travel as well, most stores stock items that are grown locally for their consumers to enjoy, which means the consumption of them will help the local economy reinvest the profits.

However, the production of organic food takes more work and is time-consuming. The amount of physical labor required to bring items to the market is much higher because there can be fewer automated processes involved. Although these actions improve the soil conditions, it will also raise the cost of the items that households can purchase. Moreover, organic foods offer a higher risk of bacterial contamination. According to several studies, there is a slightly higher chance of coli contamination when choosing products that were grown through organic processes.

In the end, organic food has both advantages and disadvantages to some extent. Although it has to be said, choosing food products that are produced organically creates little to no changes, so the decision depends on people's personal standards and preferences.

Nguyễn Đắc Quyết 12E Everywhere in the world, there is a growing awareness of healthy habits not only about the food we eat but also about its impact on our planet. That's exactly why we have organic food. People think it's healthier, tastier, or safer, others believe that this eating option is better for the environment and improves the health of animals in the human food chain. But to really understand the benefits and importance of organic food, not everyone knows. Firstly, organic food is an environmentally friendly production method. Organic foods are often chosen because people are trying to avoid artificial chemicals. Eating these foods can reduce your exposure to some pesticide residues. Secondly, organic foods may be safer to eat. When you eat common foods, chances are you're exposing your body to a variety of synthetic chemicals. These additives in the food supply have been linked to infertility problems, many cancers, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Eliminating these items from your diet can allow your body a chance to heal. One more reason we should use organic foods because it has more nutrients than common foods. Organic foods have a higher concentration of antioxidants and other nutrients, according to a 2014 study that analyzed 343 published articles on organic foods. Many types of antioxidants are found in higher concentrations than in organic foods, and these have been shown to protect cells and reduce the risk of cancer. certain types of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and Alzheimer's disease. Organic food has many benefits but on the other hand, it also has a lot of downsides that we need to know. Organic food costs much more than conventional food, some products even cost twice as much as conventional food. The demand for organic food is increasing day by day, while there are very few farms or fields applying organic methods to livestock and farming, leading to insufficient supply and demand and increasing prices. Moreover, organic food spoils quickly and cannot be preserved for a long time. Especially organic fruits and vegetables will rot faster than conventional fruits and vegetables because they are not treated with waxes or preservatives. In general, organic food is an essential food for health, but it is also difficult to avoid disadvantages. Many experts believe that pesticide residues on vegetables and fruits pose a small health risk. However, there is still not much research with enough evidence on whether minimal exposure to pesticides causes harm.Choosing organic foods can greatly reduce your exposure to pesticides and help remove harmful substances from the environment. But, you also don't have to eat 100% organic food to get this benefit.
