An idea I would like to use in my classroom is some of the math center ideas I saw, I especially liked the "Tower Power" one where they roll a die to see how many blocks to add to the tower and try to keep building the tower without it falling down!

In the "Open Sci Ed" Resource it mentioned the importance of executive functioning and building working memory, specifically in Preschool Settings. It stated that EF skills matter in preschool and supports problem solving, which in turn supports development of math skills. A couple of other Resources were for Kinder and higher. I will do more exploring to find resources for preschool age children.
In the Wonder of Science resource I was inspired by the Weather patterns activity and will expand upon our observation of daily weather during circle time. We will try keeping track of sunny days or rainy days so the children can see patterns.

I like the idea of using loose parts as a center for math and a continuation of whatever science we are doing.
