Getting off the chairlift my tips of the skis crossed and hit the under part of the lift landing. They popped off my feet then I fell backwards off the lift and ended up in the net under the lift. It took forever to get out.

Sobbing at the top of the bunny hill I thought to myself I'M NOT SKIING DOWN.

After a lot of convincing I ended up skiing down. When going down I picked up way too much speed my instructor screamed on top of her lungs

“PIZZA, PIZZA PIZZA ''

I screamed back I’M PIZZA-ING!!!

I forgot what my instructor told me. At the bottom of the slope I got all tangled up in the bright orange fencing looking like a fool.

As I go up to the start line I sweat anticipation filling me as I sprint then jump into the pit I feel a sudden pain coming from my heel. As I try to get back up I notice that I'm struggling. Every step I take leads to a sharp pain in my foot. I go up to my coach and tell him about the pain.

“Coach I just landed really awkwardly on my foot and it really hurts”

My coach replied “Can you still compete?”

	I tell him “I don’t know coach i'll try”

As I say that I leave I still feel the pain in my heel. I hear all the screaming as I get ready for my next jump. I smell the hot air in the room, and realize I probably should not jump, and just excuse myself from the rest of the meet. However I fight through this urge thinking nothing of it, worst comes to worst I just put some ice on it.

The official yells “Robert Rousseau your up”

I realized it was my turn to jump again. As I start my run up, my heel feels awful and as I jump, BOOM! I land on my heel again. After this next time I knew that my meet was over. I went over to my coach and asked him to take me out of everything that I got left. As I'm walking around ready to leave it's getting progressively more difficult to do so. As I leave I start to think of my heel as more than just a pain. It was a serious injury.

We took a bow, music was playing, yet I didn't really hear it over the thunder's applause, warm, blinding lights were beaming at us, until they were shut off and we went off stage. We quickly put our costumes back and started to move some things like the prop table and the costume rack backstage. While that was going on, the other members of the club were talking about going to PeachWave to celebrate the play we just put on. I was happy that the play was over since I was sick of tech week, where we kept practicing the play usually until 8:00. After the play, I met up with my family and asked them to drop me off at peach wave. I had my license for quite a while, but the sky was black, and the air was cold and I didn’t know where the peach wave was.

Giuseppe let out a howl. I had never heard a cat howl, yet here we are. He leaped right out of my hands with great force, sending a tsunami of muddy water all over my clothes. And my face. Oh yeah, he scratched me real good, too. I was blinded due to soapy eyes for a second, and felt the stinging pain of an angry cat scratch. No. Not here. I was not going to give up. I slowly rose to my feet and rolled up my sleeves.

“GET BACK HERE, YOU!” I let out a war cry, grabbing Giuseppe by his soaked haunches and dragging him back into the tub. He flailed in response and tried to hop out like a rabbit. No way. I wasn’t backing down. My clothes were heavily soaked, so at this point I didn’t care if he got me wet. That was a price I was now willing to pay. In fact, I sat right in the tub with him. I felt disgusting just sitting in the filthy water, but I now had much more control over the feline. Finally, I was able to rinse out the rest of the soap on his back. I won. This was my turf, Giuseppe!
