BEAT the other houses at RECYCLING!

The Inter-House Plastic Recycling Competition is a competition between the 4 houses.

Technically, despite its name, the objective of the inter-house plastic recycling competition is not solely plastic recycling; it also emphasizes reducing plastic consumption, as well as reusing and upcycling disposable plastics products. 

Though recycling helps alleviate plastic pollution, it is not as effective in comparison to reusing, reducing, and upcycling. Many types of plastic products are unrecyclable, and many recycling systems are ill equipped to process all plastic waste organized for recycling. Subsequently, the competition primarily encourages reusing and upcycling. In fact, recycling is often considered a 'false' form of action, at least contemporaneous with modern technology.

We are hosting an inter-house recycling event from Monday 30/5/2022 to Thursday 23/6/2022. Please visit the homepage of the following website for more details.
