         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Summary: </strong>A young girl is very close with her grandma when suddenly she is elected as the mayor and doesn’t have time for her anymore. She’s confused and sad until she gets to see her grandma work in action, and becomes extremely proud of what she is doing.<br><br>After reading, the students will be given a list of everything the mayor must get done during the day, as well as times for each. With a demonstration of a pie, they will learn that rules put in place can help to prevent others from eating their pie. Once they have completed the "I do" and "We do" parts of the lesson, students will write a letter to their principle discussing rules already in place at the school, as well as rules that they think should be in place.
