Before today, we have already learned many skills, such as using gravity filtration to prepare clear limewater, using water displacement, gas generation apparatus to produce or collect carbon dioxide.</p><p><br></p><p>As usual, you are free to use all the materials you see in front of you to deal with the problem. The glassware such as 有側支的試管 or chemical drugs. What’s different today is that the source of quicklime comes from the drier in海苔cookie (it’s delicious) In today’s lesson, your first job is to prepare limewater and to create a CO<sub>2</sub> gas generator, we have mentioned before. Your final job is to give a data picture, to be more precise, you need to give a picture, plotting 濁度 against the amount of CO<sub>2</sub> to track the formation of CaCO<sub>3</sub> and the formation of Ca(HCO<sub>3</sub>)<sub>2</sub>.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The only reminder is to be careful and avoid wasting as possible.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Hello, everyone how we are going to introduce the family of "Lime".</p><p>The calcium oxide also called quicklime because it is easily used to prepare carbon dioxide.</p><p>First of all.we use water to shake make these powder dissovlved.</p><p>Next,we combine flask, filter paper and funnel as a filtration devise to obtain filter limewater,which is the second family called clearly limewater.ok the third family is Calcium carbonate,called citric acid,when it react with calcium oxide,it produces carbon dioxide gas.</p><p>In our experiment,the produced CO2 is collected by the way of water displacement. CO2 gas can be detect by lime because it makes precipitation, which is made of cloudy.</p><p>The produced cloudy limewater is still basic because it makes Phenolphthalein turn red.</p><p>Followed by bubbling much more carbon dioxide into cloudy solution,its color gradually changed into clearly because of neutralization by carbonic acid.</p><p>The final solution is a clear solution because lime is soluble to water.</p><p>Here is our works to show how these four families change themselves into one another.
