Claudius was the Emperor of Rome from 41 AD to 54 AD. Everyone believe that he did not have what it took to be the Emperor of Rome, since he had health issues, but people saw that as his weakness. During his time he surprised the people of Rome, by taking part of Britannia in 43 AD and he the made the Roman Empire after Caligula. Claudius took over many land and also  

One of the greatest accomplishments, when he was a the Emperor. He brought peace to Rome, he took care of the citizens and he created an imperial civil service. So over his years he put the people of a high standard and honest people who knew what to do, to make Roman Empire a better place, after what Caligula did to the Roman empire and much more, He also had the idea of creating aqueducts to bring the water to Rome from the Northern part of Italy.
 
IN 37-41 AD, was when Caligula was the emperor of Rome, he was assassinated. Claudius hold power for 13 year until.His dead, in 54 AD. Nero came to power the last one of the five of the Julio dynasty.

He came into power when Caligula was assassinated in 41 AD. Caligula was not a very good emperor of Rome, Caligula was assassinated by Guards and Claudius was with him, when he thought he was going to be killed also, so he was hiding until a praetorians, praetorians are the Roman Army of elite soldiers, he was taken with them when they told him that he was going to be the next emperor. 

Claudius died in October 13, 54 AD, for what people think that he poisoned by his wife Agrippina. The rumors said that Claudius always regretted getting married with Agrippina. Agrippina always had her plan for her son Nero,to be the next emperor of Rome. So Agrippina poison Claudius with mushrooms and shortly after that he died.

Plautia Urgululanilla, her and claudius got married in the year 9 or 10 AD, Claudius was only 18 years old, he had a son named Claudius Drusus.After they got divorce in 24AD, Claudius was married 4 years later with a woman named Aelia Paetina by 30 AD, Claudius had a daughter named Claudia Antonia, but one year later Claudius gets divorce. He marries Messalina for only one year and has two sons named Britannicus and Claudia Octavia. 
The last marriage is the one that destroyed Claudius,  Claudius married Agrippina the elder. She already had a son named Nero.
