I also think knowing about a the main characters and a little bit of their back ground is good. Or since this is the third "movie" it would be a nice reminder of who is who. I think this poster will sell more tickets because it is eye catching and the slogan gets you hooked and makes you want to know more. One reason I think this is because it has a movie counterpart and the movie leaves out many details. Another reason I think this is because it is a very good franchise and many future generations will want to read the entire series. Another reason is because it does not really use technology that much so they can relate to it even more. Another reason I think it will still be read is because they will find the half-blood prince book mystery. They might also  wonder about horcruxes. They will also  relate to Harry Potter by wondering if they are secretly magical. The action part of it will never die down and they want to see it. This is also what I consider a modern classic.
