         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Throughout this degree, we have had sessions for Professional Inquiry to go through Te Reo Māori phrases. That's where I have learnt my phrases. I also did two overnight stays on the Marae at the Manukau Institution of Technology campus where I have gained knowledge of the Māori customs and language. I am aware of how effective it is to implement the language in to my teaching practice as Te Whāriki ensures that in New Zealand, we provide a bilingual education for our tamariki.<br>In Te Ao Maori, with the two Maori language teaching resources, I made resources about bugs through a book and a game which influenced the Maori language in to the programme.<br>In Te Ao Maori, Te Ao Maori in early childhood centre, I have a clear understanding of the Maori values of aroha, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga which I have identified how I used in my practice as those are the main three values I value the most.</div>]]></description>
