1.	In your experience, do you and your siblings respond sensibly to logical reasoning when conflicts between you and your parents arise?

2.	Why do you think it is the fathers, instead of mothers, who has greater potential to hinder or exacerbate their sons’ / daughters’ aggressive behavior when responding to their negativity?

In my opinion, fathers has greater potential to hinder aggressive behaviour because they have more practice in logical thinking and how to manage aggressive behaviour when responding to negativity logically . Take my father as an example, when I had aggressive behaviour because of my result, he can always help me to think about it more logically. For example, why is the result out of my expectation and how can I improve. As my father had been studying in a boy's school, he was taught how to think logically and therefore can help me better.
Moreover, mothers usually better in literature and how to understand the feelings of others.Take my mother as an example, she was studying literature in the secondary school and was taught how to feel the feelings of the author for the passage. She is therefore better in understanding my feelings and help me feel better instead of how to think logicaly.

No, as in these ages, we have lots of things to struggle , such as, academics problems and several kinds of relationship problems. Having too much pressure in different aspects , we may be emotional in most of the time as all the things are handled by our own and no one can help us.As our family may not understand our feelings and we may not want to tell our family.Facing many adversity in the outside world, teenagers may only want to take a rest at home ,therefore ,they may want all the things that happened at home can satisfy them . It is no surprise that when family has done something makes him or her discontent , the adolescences would get angry easily and argue with their parents.Using me as an example , when I was ballistic that day after school and my family were scolding at me , causing my temper skyrocketing , then our fight would arise.I was just shouting to my family to express my anger and to express my feelings that day , which means I would not think carefully whether I was right or wrong , instead expressing my emotion became the first priority.

I think father has a greater potential to exacerbate their sons’ / daughters’ aggressive behavior. As a male, their tone s are always much harsher than a female does. On a positive view, it can make the the teenagers feel scared and they may stop their aggressive action. However, it is too optimistic. I think the father may exacerbate the situation more likely. Their tone may easily trigger a situation that is worse than before. When the teens are doing aggressive actions, they are very sensitive to the surroundings. Even more, some males have a traditional thought on family. They think they are the pillar of the family, so they should receive respect from the family members. If the teenagers are facing this kind of father, the situation will surely become the worst. That's why I think mother is a better role to assuage the teenagers' feelings at that moment. Mothers are always the person the teenagers spend the most time in their childhood, so mothers can understand the feeling of the teenagers and hinder the aggressive actions.
