(they describe it as 'kicking AWOL').

Connor is considered to be a troubled kid. We learn that Connor knows he is being unwound, he's discovered the unwind order (signed in triplicate). His parents do not know that he knows.

When he goes to pick up Ariana, she has decided not come with him. 

Connor hides in a truck, but is caught by the driver, who decides to help him escape. 

Connor's father has tracked his phone and Connor is caught by the Juvey-Cops.

Connor escapes across a busy motorway while bullets fly at him. A car swerves to a halt in order to avoid Connor. Connor enters this car.

But she is issued an unwind order due to budget cuts at the school.

Risa is put on a bus with other teens booked to be unwound. Lev is overwhelmed and asks to talk to Pastor Dan. We learn that Lev is to be unwound. But not because his parents want to get rid of him, Lev is a 'tithe'. This means he is to offered for unwinding as a type of donation from his family for their church.
